need help on this topic, thinking about the early flights they worried enough to send a chimp for low orbit. did we send a chimp into the long haul. it would have been a good idea to send one to see if he would be ok from the radiation. how long would the astronauts have been subjected to the van allen belts going to the moon i've heard 4hrs out and the same back please help with this one. thanks louie
