I didn't know if this was the right place to post this, but does anyone know what could be the problem. I use MSN Messenger and I'm not able to gt audio. I can't hear them and they can't hear me. I did a test for my microphone and everything seems to be working on my side.

Has anyone else experienced this? What do you think the problem could be? any suggestions as to how I could fix this. I have the same problems with Yahoo Messenger, especially in the chatrooms. But YIM is famous for having its lil' glitches. yes.gif

How did you test it? Have you run the Audio Tuning Wizard?

Yes, I tested it using the Audio Tuning Wizard. My mic is working ok, and my speakers are ok. I'm even able to record vocal file using Sound Recorder.

I'm wondering if it's a glitch in my messenger program.

Any ideas, anyone? Anyone had the same problem? thumbsup.gif

Graylady

Did you plug the Microphone through the front or through the back??

Shut down your pc then plug the Microphone through the back and restart again and run the Audio tuning Wizard...

No sure if it will work but sometimes MP works perfectly if you plug in through the back...

Thank you, Graylady thumbsup.gif Yes, I already tried that, and it still didn't work. hmm.gif

I wonder if I have to delet the MSN messenger program and re-install it. The thing is, I don't know if the problem is coming from my side or by buddy's side. Hmmmmm....
