I actually wouldn't watch them because this "friend" I had recommended them. She had the worst taste in movies that I wouldn't watch movies when she said they were good. I guess she was actually right about these ones, though.

Well, she is gorgeous. And I am very impressed how well she loses her accent in movies. Joan Allen is quite pretty, too and I am wondering if she doesn't have a softspot for Bourne and feel kind of sorry for him...why else would she give him his real name?

quite true i don't see another reason why other than having a softspot so tell me are the books better than the movies or pretty much equal i know that books contain more depth but sometimes quality is translated better on screen

I haven't read them. I have read on another forum that the stories are totally different. Bourne was in the Vietnam War and that was were he got his training, but we know that can't be true, other wise he looks damn good for his age! Marie doesn't die in the second book. Nikki is non existent in the books....sounds like the only thing that is consistent with the novels is his name.

that's odd lol that's quite a change usually most movies based on books try to keep it relatively similar at the very least relatively lol sounds like they just took the name and ran with it hmm i will have to check out the books

Ludlum, the author was a producer on the Identity before his death, so he obviously was OK with updating the story so that they could make movies based on his character. I mean, the $$$ would so be worth it.

Glory- you will appreciate this. You know I live on Freeport Island part of the year, anyway, that's where Pirated's of the Caribbean 2 and 3 were filmed.

Well last night I dreamt I moved to the Island and was going to stay quite a while so maybe I'd get a job. Now my background (my Major at uni was Radio, Television and Film Production) so I thought what the heck I'll get a part time gig with the film production company down here.

OMG this is so FUNNY. So, Johnny Depp and Orlando Blume are in Freeport filming number Pirates 4. I'm working for the film production company and they send me off to work Pirates 4 shoot.

To make a long story short; Johnny Depp ending up falling in love with me (LMFAO) and I was like NO YOU'RE NOT; I could be your mother!! Orlando and I were pals...we were just like hey...hey... Isn't that just weird? That's not the full dream it was way longer and funnier than that.

Then I wake up, shower, come on U-M, first thread I go to I read Johnny Depp's name on this thread and I'm like WHOA. KeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeKKK!

(Oh by the way I don't find Johnny Depp very attractive; he's cute and all but NO)...Now if it was Matt, Hmmmmmm.......................... Just kidding.

Anyway speaking of Matt: Have you seen any of the Oceans11, 12 and all? I liked those too.

Sorry Jody, I hadn't checked this thread for a while. You know, my sis always tells me I am weird because I have dreams that include actors all the time! It is so funny. I will watch them after I have a dream about them and just shake my head. I have no idea where it is coming from, but obviously I need some sort of excitement in my life!

I have teh ocen movies here, my ex loaned them to me, are they really worth it? I have been contemplating watching them, but after all the hype, I haven't taken the plunge.

And....the whole reason that I have glorybebe was because on hotmail glory be was taken, so I ended up playing around until I had a username that I actually liked. Really funny how you came up with Glory Baby.

Not as good as the first but certainly better than the second. Clears up a lot of loose ends as a final part of a story should do.
