That little blue dot is Mom and we need to care for her and love her. Someday we as a species will set sail for another place in the Universe, but that little blue dot will always be Mom.

I wish people would realize we are all we got. This is all we got. No matter what religion you follow, we were put here to self-sustain, and we are doing a pretty horrible job at it. It really is a humbling feeling to see how small our home is, but most importantly how fortune we are to inhabit it.

I love that video. Carl Sagan is one of the greatest people of the last century.
