[/quoteHe had to have found out, Why elese would the Gov. be prosecuting him? Do you have the latest info? The same question I always pose to the skeptics. Why would anyone fake, or tell a story, when it risks their own life? Just another to add the side of those who are doing whatever they can, to get the truth out.

Yeah this guy was all over the news out here in america. In fact I think the US Govt jailed him. He seems pretty darned honest, and why would anyone go to jail just to make his hoax more real?

Well according to wikipedia he hasnt been extradited yet but I got a good feeling hes gonna end up here and locked up. Unfortunate we have to do this to people just to get our "information" we should all know about.

More specifically NASA is a agency of the government for the "publics" space program. Not so public eh? hehe. I find it interesting about the whole air brushing bit. If we knew exactly what photos had been air brushed we could probably break it apart in some photo editing tools and find stuff.

If anything, NASA and the US Military should actually THANK HIM for this and be greatful that it was ONLY THIS MAN! I think they're just ticked off because HE FOUND OUT THE TRUTH and THEY don't like that. The lies and illegal cover-ups they have done for many YEARS and this man EXPOSED them. He sounds very sincere and forward with what he found and relays that , UNLIKE the politicians and corrupt government officials that run the USA.

Jeez did he really get 60 years for this? - see how pissed off the lying A-holes are about this?

Seriously, if what he said is true about energy and other things he mentioned,.. can you imagine what WE THE PEOPLE would be like?

hmmm, Riots, over throw the government, the economy would freak out, the RICH would go POOR and more I suppose. LOL

First I just want to make sure you understand (cause im reading it this way from you) that Im not defending the US govt.s take on this. If anything they should of hired him to help protect there systems. What I find odd though is with such secure information, why would these people be leaving there computers on? LOL.

Also weve heard many sincere sounding people over the years who turn out to be frauds. We know one thing is for absolute sure. He pissed off the US Government by obviously hacking into NASA. The question is the validity of the claims of what he saw and hacked. He unfortunatly got no evidence and if he did Im sure the government / s probably got rid of that fast.

I personally can not honestly say what he found, and I dont think anyone will other then those who go purely on faith. I only know, he did hack NASA, and he did piss off the government alot. I certainly do wish there are things in there that he says he saw. Id be so happy to know the truth.

Im about to rant about another point you made. The rioting, economy and so on. Rioting, I could see that, but to be honest I think its needed before hand to get them to spill the beans. What pisses me off about our government and our own citizens these days is that the government is "supposed" to be made of "citizens". Unfortunatly at some point the people have stumbled into a slump and let some line form that seperates the government from the people entirely. We can take them all out of office, and we can start all over again if enough of us wanted to. Unfortunatly the majority of us just sit back and let the government do what they do and have fallen into a comatose (sp?) state of mind, or a mind set of "Eh, governments got it under control, theyll eventually take care of it."

This is obviously entirely wrong. We should not have that mind set. It took the people to revolt against the british to form a government we wanted to control. Social status was not intended to be what made us, but only our own abilities to achieve. The idea being if you can do it / achieve it then so be it. No more heirarchies and the likes. Obviously... were right back where we started in my opinion. None of this will come out unless the people actually do something about it, and thank god there are people out there trying.

They do it all the time. Oil company workers, bank workers, etc. At night, most computers are left on, with barely minimal level security systems in place - and often no set passwords. A cracker's dream come true.

The only impressive thing about that video is that you find out that Gary McInnon seems to be knowledgeable when it comes to computers and computer cracking (hacking is not the proper term). But he really doesn't say anything worthwhile. Talking about how impressed he was with the DISCLOSURE PROJECT is not revealing. He sounds like he believes the b.s. about there being UFO technology, anti-gravity, free energy and it's extraterriestrial in origin. That we have captured a spacecraft and are reverse engineering. Give me a break, this is the crap we get from everywhere and there's never been one iota of evidence to back any of it. We're still struggling with regular airplanes, we're still sending shuttles into space along with the same ol' fuel, nothing's changed! Talking about how impressed he was when he found out about that woman who claims to be a photographic expert and works for NASA in Bldg 8 at Johnson Space Center airbrushing UFOs out of high resolution satellite photos is a claim that has been heard on Art Bell's radio program and doesn't make sense. We see UFOs flitting around shuttle footage and NASA is concerned about UFOs seen in satellite photos?

I'm glad he got caught and will pay for it. It was also awful hearing him smack his lips every few seconds. Crikey!

Cracker or hacker? =P

Cracker:
A cracker is one who engages in one or more of the following: 1) breaks into a computer system; 2) figures out ways to bypass security or license protection in software; 3) intentionally breaches computer security. Contrary to popular belief, Cracker is not synonymous with Hacker.
practice.findlaw.com/glossary.html

Hacker:
Originally, a hacker was a term of respect, used among computer programmers, designers, and engineers. The hacker was one who created original and ingenious programs. Unfortunately, the current popular meaning of the term is used to describe those who break into systems, destroy data, steal copyrighted software, and perform other destructive or illegal acts with computers and networks.

While I was making a joke if we must go to definitions its actually interesting that websters says they are the same thing haha.

Now THAT, i find amusing. Probably cause its so late and i should go sleep now haha.

It's a classical case of semantics. I prefer to use the proper term, as described by hackers AND crackers. But once a word is preferred over the correct one it enters the language and the other one is ignored until it falls out of use. Journalists should know better but they don't sound like they do. If I was ever interviewed about the subject and the interviewer used the wrong word I would explain the difference to the person.

Something's not quite right with this so called 'Gary McKinnon.'

I hope he does not have to pay for his intrusions. The US is perpetuating the much bigger crime if they are withholding tech that could save the planet. Bigtime. McKinnon's a hero IMO.

60 years is BS.
