Hello, members of Unexplained Mysteries. I was wondering about some stuff and I decided to start my own thread.
In anyway possible, what Cryptid would you hate to come face-to-face? As for me, Bigfoot and the other hairy bipedal hominids. I'm just doing this for the main reason of boredom. `Cause I'm bored. Yeah. Bored. So, post your opinion.
Yes, that was a very short entry post.

I would have to say Megalodon for this one. Now, I do like sharks, and if I could see a live Megalodon without having to be in the water with it, that would be cool. My problem with this particular cryptid is that if you should see one, and it should see you (very likely), you are lunch. Period. Unless you happen to have a submarine killing torpedo secreted upon your person somewhere, there is no way in hell you going to get away. Lets say it together people, to big, to fast, and way to dangerous. I would rather meet the Dogman, or Shunka Warakin (Waheela). At least with these two, you would have a fighting chance.

Sharks don't randomly kill humans, they have to be provoked. You can feed wild bull sharks by hand if you're careful enough. Despite the fact they cause the most deaths every year, they won't attack unless they're confused and think you're their normal prey. I don't see why a Megalodon would act much differently.

Well of course they won't attack you if you are feeding them. Why would they hunt if they can be served? Don't underestimate what a hungry shark is capable of. You don't survive millions of years by being a picky non-oppurtunistic eater.
But definately megalodon would be the one I don't want to meet in his habitat.

I understand that. But if they are hungry and haven't eaten in a while, IMO, they will become oppurtunistic and attack people. I doubt they will go without food when they need it because it is a human and not their normal prey.

While it is true that sharks, for the most part don't seek out humans as food on purpose, you have to consider size here. The Meg, is so large that if it's normal food source isn't around, it will take anything it can. Anything smaller than itself. In the case of the Megalodon, almost everything in the sea is smaller than it is, and far less well armed. Granted, it might ignor you as Great Whites have been know to do with divers, then again, it may not. These sharks are supposed to be extinct after all, but then again...

Are you nuts? Yeah you can feed a wild bull shark. The size ratio is close enough that you would not seem like "prey" to it. Now scroll back to the picture of a Meg next to a human. YOU would nothing more to it than the small fish you might feed a bull shark. A meg would not even notice the "food" in your hand and just gulp you down as "food".
But a meg is not even a cryptid. Technically is is just an extinct animal. You could also say you wouldn't want to meet a T Rex.
