This movie is ridiculous(in a good way). Don't be fooled by the PG-13 rating, it was as good as any R rated movie to come out in years. This movie is also not to be associated with other supernatural pieces of crap like White Noise. It was genuinley terrifying, and visually intense. The claustrophobic feel is great. At first you basically have two people to root for, the main character(John Cusack), and the room, and since he is such a skeptic you find yourself rooting for the room. But come the end of the movie you are hoping he gets out. Also, Sam Jackson being a badass doesn't hurt either. Check it out.

It is a very great movie. Though I only jumped once...
when that bloody first "ghost" came up when he was looking out the window, I wasn't expecting it
It's a journey really through insanity of this guys misery and beliefs... Probably the best ever Stephen King movie made.

No, Pet Semetary, Misery, The Shining...I don't think many of his early adaptions will ever be outdone. A lot of people get mesmerized with the special FX when they go to see a new movie. After it comes out on DVD watch it a couple more times and then recompare it. It was really good though, with a perfect ending i thought.

I'm pretty biased though because I've always read the books and enjoyed them before I watched the movies.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. It didn't scare me, and it wasn't filled with gore, but it was unique and had a very interesting storyline. I love the end too, I'm definitely buying it when it comes out on DVD.
