Try this one instead, this is actually one of the Aboriginal Dreamtime stories that all Aussies are told as children:

The Legend
The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo' lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe.

These beautiful young ladies had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry.

The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle.

As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor from the Katoomba tribe took it upon himself to turn the three sisters into stone to protect them from any harm. While he had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, the witchdoctor himself was killed. As only he could reverse the spell to return the ladies to their former beauty, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come.

Hi!

I'm a new member who was surfing around trying to find some info that might help me. I live in an old cottage and whenever I'm alone in the kitchen i feel like there is some one looking over my shoulder. For the first few months I just told myself that it was my imagination as my husband didn't believe me, but for the past two months when I leave the kitchen and return, all of the cupboard doors and draws have been open. The first time, I thought that my hubby must have been looking for something but it happens quite a bit when I'm alone in the house. One time I only left the kitchen for a second to run to the letter box and back and found every door and draw open. I have quite a large kitchen and it would have taken some time to open all the doors and the very high cupboards.
I also have two dogs who often mess about in the kitchen as if they are playing with and barking at something.
Like I said - hubby thinks that I am just going mad but I'm sure that there is something strange about that room.
Have any of you come across something like this or am I just reading too much into a simple situation? mellow.gif

Try putting duck tape on all the doors "before" you leave the room, then when you go back in, you can certainly see you are not mistaken.

Talking all things Australian and paranormal - we have Ghost Hunt on over here (slap my legs if it's from New Zealand, I think it's Australian) but they get some really good stuff, they've got some brilliant photographs.

Wow, that sounds pretty good. Do you know their name or do you have a link to their site at all? I'd love to see some of the pics!

Hello Marella

First of all, I am 44 this October and my experiences started from the time I was four years old. My most recent experiences occur in the flat in which my husband and I reside here in the UK.

It isn't unusual for me to see an apparition, record evp's, on one occasion I was smacked on my backside. One incident, I clearly heard one of the man's voices right down my ear, and today I clearly heard what sounded like Big Ben's chimes strike 2pm, when it was 1:30pm. At 2pm, a friend of ours arrived with some important news.

I have had something grab me, and have photographed and recorded strange phenomenon.

I believe you are having real experiences and try and record them if you can.
