You know, you're right, that one's always pretty entertaining.
Personally I prefer finding a good vantage point and sniping random people for as long as I can keep it up...Or just standing on the street and playing with a flamethrower. devil.gif

I used to play Operation Flashpoint a lot. During one mission, my entire squad was wiped out, I was badly wounded, and I was holding-up in this house. I peered out the window and noticed a T72 waiting for me outside. I thought the situation was hopeless and that I should just die now and replay this mission later. I jumped out the building on the farthest side from the T72 and stood still and fired my M16 at it, trying to get its attention. After the third shot, the T72 aimed its canon right at me, then I fired my fourth round, and the tank exploded. I looked up and saw A-10s flying overhead.

"Angels on our shoulders," I said, paying homage to Saving Private Ryan. The A-10 made a few more runs and some reinforcements arrived in M113s and the mission was completed successfully.

That is one of the rarest and most-satisfying gaming moments I've ever had.

Two things:
Once while playing midnight club 3 dub edition remix online, I used my brand new Monte Carlo (with no upgrades)... Well some ass kept ramming people and charging into first with nitrous... I swept up behind him cause I knew he was going to go to hit a jump... I waited into we were both in the air before I used my Roar... I blasted him outta the sky like I was playing Ace Combat... I won.. original.gif

Another time while playing Conkers BFD for n64 (Me and a friend hooked it up for oldtimes sake)... We invited two more people over and started playing... Well me and my now Roommate said we were gonna team up and kill the other two (go tediz!)... Well he kept taking all the kills so I finally got sick of it and cut his head off...

Both my most satisfying moments...

Ansem was a real bast*rd. Although I found the second fight against Riku was WAY harder (oh!, and Dragon Maleficent was tough as well). As for Sephirot... I could never beat the son of a ...

I didn't have much trouble with Sephiroth, really. I beat him on the first or second try (can't remember). But seeing the b*stard finally go down was extremely satisfying.

And I agree about dragon Maleficent and the second fight with Riku. Normal Maleficent was a breeze, but the dragon form was hard as nails. Same goes for Riku. The first battle was relatively easy, but the second one was pretty hard. As for Ansem, I finally reached the final battle with him. I had no potions left, something like 2 ethers and that was it. I had to fly up to him, whack him a few times, fly away, avoid the laser thingies, fly up, whack him, avoid lasers, heal, fly around and wait for MP meter to rise and repeat the process for what felt like an hour until I finally beat him (after having gotten my ass handed to me over and over again).

The final battle of Kingdom Hearts 2 was also pretty annoying. The first parts, where you fight the dragon and then fight Xemnas on the throne were easy, but when you fight him inside the Kingdom Hearts (or whatever it is), he was kinda annoying. Or rather, the part where he captures Sora and you have to play as Riku and run up to Sora to set him free, that part was pretty annoying as Xemnas would always kill me before I reached Sora, or Sora would die before I reached him. But finally I worked out how to do it, and then the rest of the battle went pretty smooth, really.

I managed to free Sora as Riku like in the second try, so.... tongue.gif
Another part that was annoying was when there was this guy where in the middle of the fight you gotta beat 10 ghosts in 10 seconds for some random reason. Why? Beats me.

Another satisfying thing is when I plant a mine as Snake in Brawl and somebody steps on it and flies far far away. grin2.gif

One time i was playing Call of duty 4 and this guy walks out from behind a fence that is down about 30 or 40 feet from me (I was up on the second floor of a building by a turret) and I didn't have time to grab the turret and aim, so I just fired my pistol, WITHOUT AIMING OR ANYTHING! Not only did I hit him, but I got a headshot on him and he died lol.

I was playing as americans, and we had one base left on the beach,so their entire team was about to swarm it.They were artillery-ing it and bombing it and all, weakening it for teh final attack. So knowing it was gonna get captured,i spawned as spec. forces and ran around planting C-4 wherever i could, trying not to be killed by.It took me several respawns but finally i laid all my C-4 and then ran down to the beach and just laid there behind a hill.Inevitably they took control of the area and started to capture the base.I watched from the hill and right before the flag got to the top of the pole i set off the C-4,killing everyone in the base, which happened to be about 14 people laugh.gif That was extremely satisfying. We still lost, but it was satisfying.

How is killing n00bs satisfying? In my eyes only n00bs think its cool to kill even n00bier n00bs because it reqires large amounts of skill, dedication and hard work. The only time getting a kill is satisfying is when the person or ai your trying to kill is actully challanging.

Thought we can have a little fun, there already is a Dumbest thing you've ever done in a game so i wanted to make this one. Okay first off then, this is one of the only ones i can remember.

In battlefield 2 there was this guy who was annoying the CRAP out of me, i forgot his name but he was part of a clan. Now ALL round and the game before he was pissing me off, team killing, flash bombing me and general annoyance, he was going on my nerves so bad i wanted to leave the server, but i couldn't because there weren't any others and my friends where in this one and it would of been to much trouble to do so, so i stayed. Now nearing the end of the game, we needed to capture this one point, luckily there was a chopper on the other side of the map where i was, and there was a single guy from our team on the other side of the map where the control point was, man we NEEDED that point. So i got in the chopper and was ready to go and who else but that A$$h0le and 4 or so of his clan mates in the chopper with me, i started to fly and he started to abuse me, so as we where FINNALY nearing the single guy waiting for us, he was in the annoying guys clan to by the way, i said "bye bye" and flipped the chopper into a building while i safely parachuted onto a water tower, i then proceeded to kill the lonely guy who was waiting for us. We lost, They died, I was laughing. They all died and BOY WHERE THEY PISSED ! laugh.gif serves them right....

Man thats what they get for being pricks,LOL,bet they didnt want to play with you anymore.LOL

I would have absolutely ended myself with laughter if i done that, thats what i call getting pwned for being a pure **** or a group of TWATS :]

anyways most Satisfying thing ive done in a game had to be when i was playing Gears Of War and i was the only COG left against the 4 locusts

i think the map was Escalation

i remember getting chased all over by them so i equipped the longshot and wall bounce blindfired one of them and took there head off which was hilarious,
then one ***, decided it would be a good idea to frag tag me so i chased the 3 of them dived into them at the last second an took them all out

i might have died, but it was just amazing taking 4 guys out on your own

but the one thing that was awesome was SteveyMurray killing ChuckNorris thats an acheivement if ever i saw one lmao

In FFVII, I had a revived and much beefed-up Aeris (using Game Shark) kill the "second version" of Sephiroth near the end of the game. With that Great Gospel Limit Break, Aeris is definitely an asset worth beefing up, as long as you have the cheat to revive her. (Game Shark is the only way I know.)

Well I admined for 4 differant servers "various games" and banning people for racism, profanity, tking, and just general disrespect of other players has been the most satisfying thing I have ever done. grin2.gif There are never a shortage of asshats to ban. grin2.gif

The most satifying moment for me was I was playing True Crime Streets of LA and i was chasing this guy I don't remember why I think he stole my car or something (someone actually did steal my car in that game I wasn't too happy) So i went chasing after him in a car guns a blazing. Anyway it was utter Destruction cars upturn, firehydrant broken, at the intersection where i caught him or killed him don't remember exactly a cops pulls up and says Kain you better of had nothing to do with this. Priceless.

Most of my gaming occurs in the world of Final Fantasy...

1. Beating Emerald/Ruby Weapon in FFVII (how come no one mentioned that?)
2. Getting all of the legendary weapons in any FF game.
3. Going through all of Spira, doing the Cloister Trials OVER to get Anima.
4. Reviving all of your Celestial Weapons in FFX.
5. Getting Cloud as an Ally in FFTactics.
6. All GF's in FF8.
Outside of FF:
7. Beating Silent Hill 2 in 6 hours
8. Getting Albel Nox in Star Ocean 3.
9. Chainsawing monsters in SH2
10. Getting the "optional" allies in the .hack series' (even though most of them are weak...)
11. Beating a game, of course.

The next game on my list is going to be Ikki Tousen: Shining Dragon (final PS2 game I will ever play, need to give it a send-off...) so I look forward to many great moments in that one.

Finally completing Overtime mode in Dead Rising. Almost did it once after I first got it, but I didn't know the part about talking to Isabella on the last day at 10 AM. I was too frustrated to deal with going through all the cases again, so every time I'd play after that, it was just to mess with the zombies in every conceivable way...
UniversalCypher
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War..

i was playing a random map skirmish against the computer AI..i was playing as Tao and the computer randomly put me up against Orcs..

it was the very first time i played the game on max difficulty and it became what felt like a 5 hour battle for my life..i cant remember the last time i ever felt the need to win in such a way..

for the first two hours, everything was going as planned - i was building up my army really well..i had captured many strategic points so on and so forth - i had also defended against a multitude of invasions quite successfully to the point where it made me feel that toughing it out would earn me a win if i kept building my army at the same pace until it was powerful enough to completely overpower the orcs..boy, was i wrong..

what ensued after about the two hour mark was the most grueling, intense, hard fought battle i've ever been a part of vs a computer AI in ANY RTS i've ever played..and i've played many many many RTS games..

my army was quite large at this point..and i had decided to go capture strategic points from the orcs to kill their resources off and destroy their remaining army without giving them much ability to rebuild it..i left two large forces guarding my main base, and sent two other forces in opposite directions around the map to capture points..this went well in the begining..i captured at least 4-6 strategic points from the orcs..upon going to capture another i encountered an extremely large force of orcs that totally annihilated my army..they ran right through it, and continued on towards my main base..great!..

at this point i began drawing my other force i sent to capture points back to the main base for backup..on the way back..this force encountered another extremely large force of orcs who had crept out of the fog of war on route to flank my main base along with their other forces..i immediately began fighting them where i found them..this particular battle was a success and this orc force never made the flank..but my army had taken many losses..back at the main base i was taking heavy losses and one of my guard forces had been decimated..eventually this battle was also a success and when everything was over at this point, i began rebuilding my army because it was far from over..right when i get my army reinforced, before i can even send them out..i get invaded by an orc army that was as large, if not larger than their first two forces i encountered combined..i immediately begin fighting them at the north area of my main base..about 20 minutes into this battle, another large orc force invades from the south..i sent a "few" warriors out there to hold them off for a second..i begin to rally more warriors to the southern battle..at the same time, i'm building a couple of these hovercraft type tanks that have this special ability to launch a bunch of missiles in a controlled area that can take out a whole bunch of orcs in one shot..so i build 4..and rally two to the north and two to the south..this worked out great..but soon after each tank got their missiles off, they were quickly destroyed..more orc forces arrive by way of jetpack..orc tanks are lobbing shells over the eastern forest that semi-shields my base..and then the crap hits the fan..all of the sudden these HUGE beasts that look like some sort of brontosaurus sized rhinos with houses on their backs come out of nowhere..two at the north and one at the south..at the north, the first to show up immediately takes out one of my fighter squads in one shot..DEAD!..the second in the north begins rampaging through my other forces..while the one in the south killed just about everything i had down there when i finally noticed it was there..great, i'm in a real bind now..i gotta take these things out..thankfully the Tao have this great weapon its a robot that can plant its feet into the ground to counter the kick-back from its large cannons..i had built of few of these guys earlier for base protection but they since have been killed..so i get 4 of these guys, plant them, and they go to work..this bought me some time to get more forces up since these guys are pretty tough..the orcs focused on them for a bit and i began to rebuild..well, my base is now about 2 thirds destroyed, i'm building more buildings as the battle rages on with seemingly no end in site..the more orcs i kill, the more orcs that arrive..the large rhino beasts i kill, more arrive..i'm barely managing to hold them off..its just wave after wave after wave after wave..i had the persistent dead bodies graphic option on which means that every body killed remains on the battle field..at this point so many orcs and tao have perished that the amount of bodies on the battlefield had covered the entire ground around my whole base..there wasnt one green patch of grass to see..just blood and bodies everywhere..

this probably doesnt change for about 2 hours, it pretty much stayed the same exact way i just described for 2 HOURS!..just trying to survive..at this point..i wanted nothing more than to win..i fought hard and long and was still alive..so i figured i had the right cards to win..while the battle raged on in the fashion it had been for 2 grueling hours..i decide to send two builders and a small force out to build another base near two energy sources and two strategic points..i get the base up and running while still holding off the orc forces at my main..at the second base, i build two other large forces and send one to the north battle at my main base and one to the south..once the orcs at my main are more distracted, i send those hovercraft tanks in i was talking about earlier, to drop bombs on them, two to the north and two to the south..after they arrive those robots that can plant their feet arrive..3 to the north and 3 to the south and then i just leave that the way it is and go back to the secondary base..my secondary base begins to get invaded by orcs at this point, but they're small forces and i take them out quickly..this tells me the orc army is wearing thin and they are focusing heavily on the larger battle going on at my main base..they invade my secondary two or three times then stop cold..i scan back to the main battle and see the orcs have reinforced their army there, more rhino beasts have arrived..so i reinforce my army there again the same exact way i did earlier..two large forces, one north, one south..4 hovertanks - 2 north, 2 south and the robots again, 3 north 3 south..at this point i build a small but strong force at my secondary and then go out to start capture orc resource and strategic points again..this is where my success begins..the small but strong force i send out is composed of fire cast units and stealth units..stealth units are bad *** for the tao because they have stealth as well as having plasma weapon upgrades that are very devastating to the orc forces..i used them through out this skirmish, but they didnt prove their effectiveness until this point..as i start sweeping the map while continuously reinforcing my units in the main battle..i'm capturing many points from the orcs..they begin to have less and less materials to build their armies and i begin acquiring more and more materials to reinforce mine..slowly but surely the tides begin to change..all the while i'm capturing points, i'm also finding small concentrations of orc unit manufacturing buildings scattered throughout the map..upon realizing there were so many orc buildings, i build another stealth/fire cast force just to take out buildings..i sweep a large portion of the map in this fashion completely shrinking the orc offensive to the point i was able to win the battle at my main base, completely rebuild my main base..fortify my secondary base until it equaled my main base..and build 4 extremely large tao forces, one to guard each of my bases and the other two to join both of the stealth/fire cast forces in taking out the entire orc army..about an hour later i invade the orc main base and destroy them without having either of my bases invaded again..neither guard force was touched..here, at this point i was at a complete offensive advantage systematically rendering the orcs unable to fight back by continuing to capture resource and strategic points while taking out buildings that produce units, starting with the ones that produce the most devastating units first, like tank buildings and such..it was a great and hard fought victory on my end..one of the most satisfying gaming experiences i've ever had..
