How do you know if you have psychic tendencies? I wouldn't say I have them often, but there have definitely been times where I've dreamed things and the next day or week they've happened. Though these tend to revolve around my best friend, who I am very close with. Sometimes I just get "feelings," though I don't know if they come true - like passing someone on the street and knowing how they'll die or knowing if a pregnant person will have a boy or girl. Again, this doesn't happen often. The reason I'm asking is because lately I've had constant thoughts about my husband's future health and I don't know if my "feeling" is true or just paranoia since the worst thing in the world would be to lose him.

My advice is keep like a dream journal or something
and everytime you dream a very vivid dream.
When you wake up write directly into your journal.
Then see what happens later.

With the exception of one neice, I have fortold the sex of each of my neices and nephews. When my younger sister was pregnant, I kept calling her baby "he" and she would get so mad at me because she didn't want everyone else to know that she thought it was a boy, too. LOL.

After so long of knowing certain things, experiencing certain things, and these things are later confirmed... that's how you know. It's not once, but many times you experience things that are later found to be true..

perhaps you would if you had psychic tendencies if you were to document various deja vu events along with special events that made some sort of special impression. Keep some sort of journal and see if there are any recurrences in certain forms of dreams or subjects of events.

well my advice is this. I believe that every human knows what they r capable of.. u r no different u know better than any one if u r psychic or not ..look into ur slef and ask u that question Im sure the answer will be alot clearer if u r truthfull with ur slef. and if u do then more questions u must ask ur slef. "what do I do with them?" etc.. maybe u should take ur husband to the doctor and c what they have to say .....if they find nothin then wait .. and c if it gets worse or if ur pridiction is true then find out what u can do about when it shows up

Well i usually get the feel of deja vu twice in a week.
And also lately i say something at the same time as my friends and family, exact the same thing they're saying, i usually get this "situation" almost twice a day. Even if we're changing a topic like something that has happened or something like that we say the exact same thing, altought this only happen with a friend of mine.
But i think it's just normal, hmm dunno

Sometimes feelings and vision type experiences are few and far between and at other times they will happen very often, I really think that it all depends on the person's state of mind at the time. One thing I have found, is that I am completely unable to force a premonition, it happens in its own time and not when I demand it. This is why it is so incredibly difficult to prove anything within a laboratory regarding such things.
Actually, I have a quick story, this did not happen to me but the person it did happened to is very unassuming and is not, in any way, subject to embellishing or exaggerating things. I shall call her Judy.
Judy had a dream wherein someone told her that Jack and Bella were going to split up - now the weird thing is that Jack and Bella were, or appeared to be, very stable and were living together, they were also close relatives of Judy. A few days later, out of the blue, Judy gets a phone call and is told by Jack that he and Bella were splitting up.
That was the first dream.
The second dream involved someone telling Judy that foot and mouth would again rear its head in England - two days later it did.
I told Judy to keep a dream journal (especially if she had any such dreams concerning yours truly lol) - seriously though, Judy is a very, very close blood relative of mine and I know without a shadow of a doubt that there is no way they would lie about such things.
I am waiting with extreme interest to see what occurs.

Have you tried to change the future in advance according to what you dreamed? Did it work?
If it did, then your promonition would not be correct. But your premonition helped to change what would really happen if you did't interfere. Just wondering

Thank you for the suggestions and thoughts. I like the journal idea. Someone wrote about taking my husband to the doctor - my feeling has never been an illness, but instead something sudden like a car crash. Which is scarier since you can't try to prevent that. Is it possible to not be psychic but just be intuitive and have occasional "feelings"? Someone said you just "know" if you're psychic, in which case I guess I'm not because I don't feel like I am. But then when I do get a feeling, it's so strong. The most recent thing is that my sister-in-law is pregnant, and I've always predicted the right due date for people close to me. But it always starts off as a range - like 5-6 days highlighted on the calendar - and as it gets closer the right one just sort of calls to me. But this time I was feeling like she was meant to go late (her due date is Nov. 7) but I had this picture in my mind of Nov. 7 highlighted and bright, with everything after it shaded in and dark. As if I wasn't allowed to choose the dates after the 7th, and yet I already knew it was definitely the 7th, yet feeling like she SHOULD go later. (Does that make sense?) Then yesterday she called to say she has gestational diabetes and the doctors will not let her go later than the 7th.

When I was in college, I used to have a dream that my mom was killed or my dad got cancer and died. This, I found out later, is just worry for the health of the person; and in my case, I was living away from home and missed my parents terribly.
On the other hand, it could be that you're not only having clairvoyant dreams, but you could be highly intuitive and picking up on warning signals that could point to something bad happening in the future.
Again, if I had a husband and he drank two six-packs a day, smoked like a chimney and ate lots of red meat, I'd be concerned too. But in your case, I don't know what the situation is, but if you're worried about his future health, I would try to motivate him to get regular checkups and to take good care of his health.

No, I have never tried to change anything, the premonitions will happen a few minutes before, a lot of the time. It is a weird thing, sort of like a picture. Sometimes I cannot be sure it is not just my imagination.
The dreams that I originally cited, were not mine, but a member of my family by the way

Well, personally I think that we all hav a sort of "sixth sense" that we can tap into during a deep state of concentration or a powerful state of adrenaline. My thoughts and dreams happen all the time and i sumtimez change the way they happen.. But i don't lik to do that becuz i never kno exactly wat i've created. One theory is that another universe is created with every decision we make. Anyway, i think if u test urself and really put it in ur mind to try and see things, u mite pull it off. If u do, then u may wanna prepare for it but if u achieve this u mite also kno wat to do to change it.. in which case who knos how ur future will turn out. Itz a big circle wen u look at it from various wayz. But since wen has life ever been a str8 line?

actually most people's 6 sense come ramdomly. Some people can concentrate and make it work but it won't be very strong. Mainly only about small stuff
