You know i would love to belive in bigfoot but i do not know i have never saw one close enough to belive it i was recently on a road trip with my gril friend and i thought i saw 2 one from the side and one from the back. But i could not acctliy see if they were bigfoot or bears really i mean there is still a lot about this world we do not know about. So what do you think one one hand we have lots of reports about them but we have not found a body what do you think.

well... I definetly think there's something out there similar to bigfoot.. It may not look as we imagine it but I think they are out there..
And there are a lot of reports of people seeing them too.. Can't see why so many people would be lying..

Yeah I think they are out there. They are spotted almost everywhere and the sheer number of sightings to me suggest there is something to it. If even one percent of the good sightings are legit, I think there is something to it.

I have come to the conclusion that there may be a creature like Bigfoot that exists in the wilderness of the world.

I think that there is a very good chance that Bigfoot or something close is out there, To many cult's have stories about this creature and they date back before we had anyway of spreading that type of information....I have read report's of BF's dating to the 1600?....

I'm not sure if my memory plays tricks on me or not, but did we not recently have a thread such as this?

the bigfoot mystery is not much of a mystery,bigfoot is simply a primate that lives in north america,he is just more evolved than other primates because he walks upright.

I don't believe we're dealing with a "creature per se, but more like a being - and quite possibly a shapeshifter. And I also firmly believe the phenomenon is closely related to UFOs. The outer appearance might be just a shell - like a teaser.

I believe more in bigfoot than any of the other cryptids simply because it is the most likely and most logical to actually exist, werewolves for example, are biologically impossible, I believe that bigfoot however, could be an early humanoid still thriving in small pockets around the world in remote areas where they are not usually disturbed. For a time in our early history, humans lived in the same areas as Neanderthal man, I think that is the case with bigfoot. Neanderthal man was not an ancestor of humans but a parallel evolution, and we lived in a sense "side by side" witht hem for a time and then the Human instincts won out and the Neanderthal died out. I think that bigfoot is either a parallel of modern man like the Neanderthal, or perhaps even a group of our ancestors that have survived simply because we are differently adapted to more specific environments and so we had less contact with them and therefore less competition.

I don't know if it's real or not, but new animal species are always being discovered.

I don't know if anyone here hunts, but it would be an absolutely amazing feat for any species to be able to outsmart helicopters, dogs, millions of hunters in the woods every year, videographers and photographers, and the like for decades. The mere fact that not a single body has been found or captured and yet the stories continue suggest that we're dealing with a Being that is not only significantly smarter than Homo Sapiens, but perhaps more advanced in several other areas as well.

I think parallel evolution is the most likely explanation, though how they've managed to avoid being found for so long is baffling. Could it just be that we're incredibly unlucky when we look for them?

no its just we're not looking ether hard enough or in the wrong spots

see the way i see it is Sasquatch and the yeti are supost to be relatid right well,
if the yeti lives in a mountain regen, and the Pacific North West is full of mountains, perhaps Sasquatch lives up high in the mountains, but only comes down when food is scarse,
there have been many reports of Yeties being seen at low elevations
and living on mountains, i think, could be why an upright ape has long fore arms

look at humans, we have shorter arms than apes and primapes because we walk up right, we have longer legs than apes and primapes

now im thinking that if sasquatch does live in high elevation it would be using its long arms to clime up steap areas, or4 possibly just walking up the mountain while walking down on two feet

Nice vids WhatTha? That new footage is probably the most convincing i've seen since the patterson footage, the figure even looked similar to Patterson's. Couldn't see the 2nd Bigfoot though, did anyone make it out?

There have been sightings in the mountains of different countries. My spouse has encountered Big Foot in Idaho as a child. She took a short-cut and became lost and injured in the mountains. A huge lady Big Foot carried her to the main road. A witness drawing of this creature prompted her to witness her account to me once blood returned to her suddenly white face.
Big Foot seems to be ferrel. I don't blame the creatures, most folks irritate me also. By recent and not so recent accounts describe the creature as making landmarks and structures for themselves. Lots of bending and breaking branches, thick large branches. Pretty cool.

The older I get the less I believe in the creature. I find it so very highly unlikely that their is very little video footage of this creature no bones ever found in any caves of remote locations of the wild. And 95% of the pictures are very poor or just flat out comical. Also with the centuries of hunters heading into the far north and other remote locations that not one has ever brought one out of the woods and out of all the sightings the percentage of hunter sightings is not all that large Mind you I said hunter sightings not claimed vocalizations and other encounters. Just my two cents.
Im a hunter and avid fisherman and have lived in Canada California Jersey and now reside in Georgia and of the 1000s of hours spent in the woods I have never encountered anything that couldnt easily be explained. I would like to believe and see a bigfoot in my time but Im not waiting with baited breath

I was comfortable within my logical mind's dismissal of the possibility. Write it off to imaginative personalities. Yet, I've read Dr. Jeff Meldrum's Sasquatch, Legend Meets Science, within the past six months. This scientist's logical, cogent, well-presented book, for which he's caught sh** from his peers, has caused me to reconsider.

Living within the central portion of the US, with precious few reportings of a gigantic, bipedal creature. who the hell am I to say what might exist within the great Pacific NorthWest?

Dr. Meldrum's book is worthy for anyone, believer or skeptic, to read.

I believe in bigfoot even though I've never seen one. I've never been in a place where they might be, quite frankly. (Catskill mountain sightings maybe?)

Then again, I believe in a lot of weird stuff.

digital, I could hide right beside you and you would never know I was there unless I grabbed you. My dad used to teach escape and evasion techniques. He showed me how to camoflauge, cover tracks, make something look normal when its out of place etc. If we go in the woods we aren't in our back yard we are in theirs if they exist. They could hide from anything easily. There have been planes crashed in the forests of BC that were never found. Thats how vast and dense the woods can be. People sometimes forget that there is more unoccupied realestate than there is occupied.

I'm not sure what to believe. I'm a skeptic but on the other hand, there have been a lot of sightings and I am someone who really wants to believe people when they say they've seen something like this. There is a lot of unexplored stuff on our planet so bigfoot could exist. My only problem is that in order to keep the population going, there would have to be at least a 1000 individual bigfoots capable of reproducing.

I have no reason to believe Bigfoot exists. If I did believe it, it would be simply because I choose to and not because I have seen any real evidence to support its existence. There's plenty of people that would argue against that, but that's their opinion and this is mine. So far every piece of 'evidence' I've seen is either fake or can be explained away as something else, so I'm still waiting for something conclusive to come along...
