Well not sure if you have heard this one before.. you probably have, but here it is anyway..lol

A rich old woman was visiting Mexico when a small ugly dog approached her on the sidewalk. She couldn't resist his sad eyes, so she took him back to her hotel and fed and bathed him. For the remainder of the trip the lady and her dog were inseparable. When the time came to return home, she smuggled the small dog over the border so she could keep him. Within a few days he got sick and she immediately rushed him to the vet, but there was nothing that could be done, he died in the office. After she stopped crying, the grief-stricken woman asked the vet what kind of dog he had been. The shocked vet looked at her and said: "Lady, that's no dog, it's a Mexican Sewer Rat!"

If that had happened to me, I'd scream like a 12 year old girl and bathe for a week. Anyways, pretty good story.

That is weird

Lady, that's no Mexican Sewer Rat... that's a Chihuahua!!

Sorry. I couldn't resist. Anyway, I've heard this one before. But rats make intelligent pets. My best friend's brother had one for years; they're surprisingly clean.

Who showers with their dog?

Weird.

It's hard to believe that a wild-born rat could ever have the personality of a dog starving for love and attention. Very entertaining story though, I'd not heard this one yet.

here's another version:

This woman and her husband go to Mexico. Outside their motel room, the lady notices a strange-looking small doggie. She feeds it for a couple of nights and eventually she lets the dog sleep in the room with them. She falls in love with this ugly, but adorable pooch and decides to take it home at the end of their vacation.

She carries the animal in a blanket onto a bus that is taking them to the airport. The new pet is licking her face as she snuggles with it. She notices a local older man on the bus looking at her. She asks the man if he knows what possible breed of dog she has grown to love. He tells her that it's not a dog she is cuddling, but it is actually a large type of Mexican rat.

Quiet Pyramid
Here is another one... This guy is stranded out cause his yucatan cruise ship sunk. a small dog comes swimming toward him so he picks the dog out of the water thinking it must be from the cruise. he only has limited food and water so he rations it with the dog. Three days later they are out of food and water so the guy resorts to killing the poor dog and eating it. he is found the next day and says he'll pay all animal cruelty fines. the captain of the boat that found him tells him its okay cuz he just ate a large breed of sewer rat.

Yuck no.gif
