Well, so far all of JJ Abrams and Goddards collaborations have been rather entertaining...

what is this one about?

The trailer shows a group of friends at a party in New York, it's going fine until they're struck by an earthquake. A few moments later they go up to the roof of the building to see what's going on when a strange noise begins echoing around the city, then there's a series of tremendous explosion in the distance and New York's in chaos.

Aliens? Godzilla? Rosie O'Donnell? Who knows.

I'm very curious & I can't wait to see it. The trailer looked really good.

I really like the approach of doing a giant monster movie on steadycam. Really lends a fresh touch to a genre desperately in need of it.

I'm a little worried that the secrecy might be setting expectations too high on this but I'm still looking forward to it, nonetheless.
