Well heres the problem....it clearly DOES have those options
I agree - (this should not be news to you) since I mentioned those options in my post. But thanks! You have a keen sense for the obvious.

but every time anyone on UM makes a poll..someone always comes on and complains about it
Is this really true? That is odd. I will research this to see if you were correct or not. May take me awhile.

Anyways, I never "complained about it". I merely pointed out that the topic was to choose between two religions but then alternatives to the poll's title were also offered. I was merely recounting my profound confusion and the strange circumstances that I found myself in upon awakening from the swoon forced upon me by the twisted, dark paradox that inhabited that poll.

Good on ya! Crikey, ain't life grand......

I don't think the starter meant to be insulting by the poll. "christian, witchs/wiccans scare me" your not going to make friends with that statement. I don't think many of the christians on this site are afraid of witches. Many of the Pagans have done a good job of explaining Paganism to the masses here on the site. Besides if you don't believe in something why fear it. The statement "witch/wiccan, duh" is a pet peeve of mine. Ending a statement with "duh" makes me want to go to the angry room for a while. What is the writer trying to say? wacko.gif When my kids would say it I would go into an endless rant until they learned never to say "duh" to me again.
One thing I have learn about doing polls on sites is keep them simple and to the point. Ok, end of rant.

Sorry Sunburst, I don't mean to offend, but the subject of writting polls came up and when you get to a certain age you tend to give advice whether it is wanted or not.

I didn't answer the poll because I wouldn't want to choose. :Þ

Some people call me a Christian Witch, but I don't call myself that.

*lol* I have a very near and dear friend who labeled herself as such for the LONGEST time. I haven't asked her lately what path she is running down tho... maybe I should.

IMO the lines between religions are so blurred and faded that most practice both and don't even really realize it... and I haven't even really chosen for myself yet either.

I couldn't pick any of them.

I'd pick Christian, but I'm not afraid of witches or wiccans... not even close. Personally, I like some pagans better than I like some of my own fellow Christians.

I agree with Miss--I can't choose one because although I'm Christian, I'm not afraid of witches or wiccans. Why didn't you list a Christian option without the fear factor? This is a pretty biased poll.

I am first and foremost an agnostic. My father's side of the family were Wiccans for countless generations(one of my great great great aunts was burned at the stake for instance), my mother's side were Jehovah's Witnesses, and my Step father is a Born Again Christian. Quite a mixture eh? Well, I did choose Wiccan because of my open minded father's side family, and I didn't choose Christian because my Step-father is a prime example of extremist.

Oh, and personally I don't believe in Christian-witches because it makes no logical sense, much like Scientologists, Indigos, and the whole of George-Town.

But yeah, Wiccans are more open-minded, their beliefs are peaceful, they succumb to the beauties of nature-worship them as well, and they don't burn Christians at the stake.
