What is YOUR favorite console controller?Out of the many choices id have to save my favorite would be the gamecube controller,I like the positioning of the buttons and the way its shaped.Its perfect for playing RE4 when those fast button mashing sequences flash onto the screen.

For the conventional control scheme I would definately say the PS2 controller but the GC controller wasn`t bad. I have only used the x-box and 360 controller sparingly so I cant really comment on them, but from what I experienced they were a bit akward, probably from being used so to the other controllers though. The Wii-mote and Nunchuck however is awesome and really does allow for the greatest sense of immersion within the game, it just feels so much more intuitive.

For me it would have to be the PS2 controller. Better button locations for medal of honor. But the GC was not bad at all either.

N64 blew my mind, that was true innovation.

X-Box was kinda hard in beging then i got hang of it

I would have to say the PS controllers in general are my fave. I have tiny little hands so the X-Box, GC, and 64 are a little too awkward for me! I can make do if I need to, but it is SO much easier to stomp the bloody hell out of an enemy with a smaller controller!

Xbox 360 controller, only because it feels the most ergonomic to me, lol. I think ergonomic is the most stupid term in the world, but it's all that fits. The PS1 & 2 controller setup just feels weird after using a 360 controller. Although when it comes to FPS controls, keyboard & mouse.

You're absolutely right. I've been playing my 360 a lot lately, and I went back to play a game on my PS2 today, and I just could not get a hand of the controls, despite having played the game countless times before. My poopr performance in the game completely took me out of the mood to play it, haha.

My favorite contollers are a throw-up between the GameCube and PS2 controllers. Excellent design, button positioning, and easy to handle. The 360 controller is really nice as well, but I'm not a fan of the "bumper" buttons above the triggers.

The worst controllers are the original Xbox controllers and the N64 ones. The former were unnecessarily massive and were very uncomfortable to hold. The latter controllers were terribly designed and had the most awkward feeling out of any controller I've ever held.

I would have to say the Wii Controllers. They are easy to handle and to use, the buttons don't get in the way of the gameplay and the motion controls are just ace.

has anyone given a thought to the dreamcast. the controler is about the same size as an xbox one but the memory card that looked like a mini gameboy sloted in the top.

Though, if it has to be a console controller, then I'll go with any of the PS ones. They've always been very naturally intuitive.

I loved the N64 controller. Liked how the Z button at the back was like the trigger of a gun. Especially for Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

i really love the PS Controllers it fits perfectly into my hands easy to use and i love the r1 and r2 buttons

Depends on the type of game I am playing. For a Shooter, the 360 controller is the best IMO. For everything else, the PS2 controller, not the PS3's. What have they done to you R2 and L2?!

yea i dont like the R2 and L2 on the Ps3 controller when im playing a racing game i have to use my knee to reposition my finger

Nintendo 64 of course. Nothing else comes close.

I haven't had any problems with any controllers all you have to do is use them for a bit and they're perfect

The 360 controller is usually the best for playing any multi-console game. For PS2 games I like using my Logitech wireless controller.
