I've been googling a lot lately for a ghost video I remember seeing as a child on the late great show "Sightings" on Fox and Sci-fi. Just a few moments ago, I found another post from someone looking for a video of an alien head peering through a window. It is with great hope that I now ask you all for some assistance in finding this compelling footage.

I remember seeing this footage many years ago, (1994-1997) with my skeptical brother. The story behind it, as I recall, was about two men filming an independent film in a house that was apparently haunted. The script called for a scene in one of the bed rooms, on the second floor of this house. The two men carried a conversation, as mature and sensible adults, before leaving the room - with the camera still rolling.

It is here that the bizarre entity makes his entrance, very curious in size (I want to say it was small) and wearing what appeared to be a thick cloak. I do not remember how the ghost made it's entrance, I only remember watching it pace back and forth in the window with an almost dream-like representation and quality about it. This image alone was enough to scare me, and has haunted me ever since.

Google has turned up nothing, and I thought I was on to something on the episode summaries for Sightings on tvtome.com, but the trail ran cold.


If anyone remembers this show, this footage, or ANYTHING that can help it would be greatly appreciated. I know I'm new here, but I've always read the main site in the late hours at work when I've had some free time and I know, through the comments on the articles, the people that frequent this site are good people indeed.

Thanks for replying - first comment in four months!

While the ghost in that picture does, indeed, look freaky, it's not the one I remember seeing from so long ago. From what I recall, it was a video, and the ghost was pacing around in front of a second floor window, with the camera filming it inside the room.

Thanks to the topic you showed me, I did get an idea to draw the scene to the best of my memory. It'll be a shoddy representation, but at least it will serve to set the scene.

I vaguely remember the footage myself, and I would be more than happy to write it off as a childish dream or wild imagination due to how freaky it was, but my brother and I discuss it every now and then, which to me, makes it very real. Our descriptions of what the ghost/thing looked like varies slightly, but the premise remains the same - this is what drives me to try and find it again.

Sightings was a great show, I remember being spooked constantly by nearly every sequence, except the psychic ones, I was too young then to appreciate it because there were no flying saucers or Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) when the psychics starting ranting. Either way, it was a great show, and I can only hope they air it again (even if it is dated now due to it's age).

Looks like a fan in the window to me

In a way, I agree with milarev. I don't think it looks that much like a ghost, but I don't agree with the fact that it's a fan. I thought it was some kind of ornament.
