Johns Creek, Ga. - Danny Fendley started more than just his lawn mower when he tugged at its pull cord - he started a fire that destroyed his home.

The mower exploded in hot, parched conditions.

Fendley was trying to start the mower in the garage of his two-storey brick home in the Atlanta suburb when the machine burst into flames.

Before he could extinguish the fire, it had spread through the garage.

Fendley says his wife tried to toss a can of gasoline out a window as the blaze spread, but she missed, spreading the fuel "everywhere."

The flames engulfed the house in less than a minute. The couple escaped without serious injury.

Oh man....sorry to hear about the house, but the good thing is, is that they are uninjured and safe.

Wow, that's terrible! I feel so bad for that family, all they wanted to do was mow their lawn.

That's just weird...

The same thing happened here in TX a couple of months ago, and to an aquaintance on mine in Maine several years back. Its beginning to sound like a devious plot.
