That is definitely a creepy picture. Whoever sent the picture in mentioned that it looked like a mask. I agree. It reminds me of a killer clown mask. o.O Surely 30-40 minutes would be long enough for someone to leave a mask there, then pick it up after the picture-taker left. Besides...doesn't the Jersey Devil have a dragon-like face? Or was it horselike?

Thanks for the picture. It does sort of have a horse shape to it. It doesn't look anything like the picture in the link. Not to me anyway. It still looks like a mask or something to me, but even if it is a real ghost or demon, I highly doubt that it is the Jersey Devil.

Yeah, probably a mask. She said though it was abandoned house. In that house was supposedly a beast. She thought it was the JD but I think if it is not a mask then what could it be? Well whatever it was we'll never know cuz the house is torn down

I'ma gonna go with no. My question would be, if you could get a picture of it's reflection in the glass, why could you get a pic of the actual...uh...devil...or animal....or whateverthehell it's supposed to be.

Reflection? No it wasn't a reflection. It was behind the glass. You can see it partially covered by the curtain and reflections like the guardrail outside overlapping it.

Creepy.. It's not a reflection, I'm not sure what it is...

Then why not get a closer pic, why not get some irrefutable evidence?

She did not notice it until it was gone. She went back and looked at it on her pc, she came back and what ever was there was gone.

I guess that it could just be some other demon. Or a mean spirit. You never know...it might have just moved to a different house.

yea i have to agree, the photographer SHOULD have seen that in the window in order to have taken that picture, from how the picture looks. Its sounds too convenient just to take a picture of the house from the way the photo looks and HAPPEN to catch an image in the window even if the guy was searching the perimeter to check the place. And personally MYSELF from walking around the house to see that it was abandoned and having an uneasy feeling I think I would still go inside to check the place out...but thats just me

Did anyone else hear this story before this thread? It was on the firt page of google images under Jersey Devil.

It looks like a curtain and another ripped curtain behind it but I would have to check it out on my home P.C. The area is definatly NOT the Pine Barrens though. Looking at the woods in the background it looks like someplace up in North Jersey or P.A.

I don't have any super-cool photo editing program or anything, but here's the face. I circled the outline and eyes and stuff. Maybe it will help someone see. *Shrugs* I tried.

I think that's the same person. Their 'devilish-like visage' links back to another page with the demon in the window picture.

That 'kill yourself' message is kind of creepy. It looks like it's scratched into the wall, but the person that took it says it is 'splattered' against the wall. Paint maybe?

If it was a mask and not some weird reflection or something anyway.

Glad I read that, it's 1:30 am now, and I missed the "kill yourself"-message, and I don't, even while believing this is whole thing is fake, want to look at the pictures again out of some paranoid fear that they might be real after all.

Now I see it! Thanks. It is a little strange. But I don't see a jersey devil. The inside of that house is definately really messy and probably pretty creepy to be in.

Pretty much all old abandoned houses are creepy to be in. I'm sure the 'kill yourself' message written across the wall certainly doesn't help. However, that right there shows that other people (most likely pranksters) go there. The face in the picture could have been something hung there to freak people out even more.
