I've seen the doll at the Martello museum. It is pretty creepy, even if you don't know the bizarre story behind it.

Which leads to an interesting question, what would happen if you tried to destroy it?
(I once inherited a spellbook from a relative, I didn't want to keep it but I was warned not to destroy it.)

It's just a doll. But the speculation, attention and energy that surrounds it prob attracts something

OK, this is going to sound weird but because he's big he's more boy/child like - and that makes me feel sorry for it (I know, it's a doll!)

I feel sadness and pity for it more than scared - and it's not alive!

Evil possessed doll that gets up and moves around like Chucky and you guys keep insulting him! Great idea. However, I have to agree, he is pretty creepy looking. I couldn't imagine being Gene's wife and having to live with the thing, especially if it gave you chills every time you saw it. Talk about nightmares. Sheesh. This is one thing I really wouldn't want to see in a museum. I'd freak out big time if he tapped on the glass while I was there.

When I was younger, my friend told me about him and we ended up reading things online about him. What creeped me out the most were the reports of people walking down the street who would see him moving around in the window.

I still have it. I just put it on the top shelf of the closet, waaay back where the kids couldn't find it. The coven she belonged to wanted me to give it to them, but something about that seemed wrong. So I kept it.

Bury it in your back yard

Or bury it in a cemetary, yes I've heard that before too!
I can't get rid of it in a way that it might be found later. *shrug* I don't know why I feel that way.
I was told by the coven rep. that I couldn't destroy it and I guess superstition has kept me from doing just that. I've tried to bury it and I've tried to burn it, but at the last minute I can't, I get the feeling that something really bad will happen if I do.
It's safe enough where it is.

O.k. how about those spooky dolls! I've never been afraid of a doll until I met the Furby's. My kid had one that would just wake up and start talking at any given moment. It was really creepy, so I took the batteries out and my poor child walked around with it crying, "I don't know why he won't talk to me!" I kinda felt guilty about that.

You shouldn't bury it. I heard that if it is 'negative' and you bury it in your yard that it will bring negativity into your house. Of course, that could just be superstition as well.

Those Furbies are some creepy little things. I threw mine out of a window one day.

We have doll that closes her eyes, saw it once, when i looked again her eyes openned.
Ah, the doll slides on the corner. I decided to stand her up by twisting her leg.
Damn, i dislocated it, i pulled out the other leg too and dropped it.
Nah, not a good sight to look. How if this doll stand up and chase me?
I locked her inside the box for good. lol

LOL! I am a BIG fan of the Child's Play movies so this was the first thing that popped in my head. The batteries make a good excuse if it gets up and starts walking around. Without the batteries in it, you are just FROKKED! LOL!

This doll creeps me out. However he has always fascinated me to. I would like to go see him in person someday. I don't like a lot dolls though. Porcelain, clown, and ventriloquist dolls especially.
