Looks like a chunk of ice blown out of some sort of line or hose on a jet. It definatly is condensation ice from a hose though.

I believe the explanation for rods is that they are insects, and when the camera photographs insects just right, they appear to be rods. That's why we have soo many pictures of them and no eyewitness testimony.
But atmospheric beasts are another thing. Some people claim that they are a different type of life form. Me, I think someone needs to lay off the hallucinative drugs.

Atmospheric Beasts are organisms which could high up in of Earth or other planets atmosphere
they are lighter than air and "float" without wings
a scientict stated that these animals could hypothetically exist in gas planets like Jupiter or in high atmospheres of other planets

Charles Fort dedicates an entire section of his book 'Book of the damned' to strange objects that fall from the sky.
He collates huge volumes of cases, collected over man years, and deduces that junk falling from the sky is actually rubbish ejected from passing extra-terrestrial star liners. He also believes that human beings are a flock of cattle owned by an unknown overlord. Seems cooky, but considering he published his works in 1914 when the paranormal was considered a high class kitchy-ness......for the rich and powerful at play time....he was a little ahead of his time.
No wonder he is now considered the godfather of the strange and paranormal.
His strange ideas aside, the photo there (as others have already noted) is a piece of water frozen in a hose. You can even see the water residue from the ice on the hands...

So does anyone know of any pictures of these atmospheric beasts? Otherwise how did they get an idea as crazy as that?
