QUOTE(Artist's Comments )
Adolf Hitler, while persuading his associates that a Jewish holocaust would be tolerated by the west stated...
“Our strength lies in our intensive attacks and our barbarity...After all, who today remembers the genocide of the Armenians?”

And the sad part about it. He was right. I don't remember reading anywhere in my world history book while I was in school mentioning anything about the Armenian genocide.
Done upon request, and I'm glad this was brought to my attention.
Exactly. I never read about it until I started listening to System of a Down ; it wasn't in my history books either. If it was I sure don't remember it.

That made me want to listen to The Winds of Change by the Scorpions. Im listening right now.
I was very young when The Scorpions made their '80's comeback with "Winds of Change" and new very little about Russia, the U.S.S.R. and the history of The Iron Curtain. My sister, who was born in '72 grew up in fear of the cold war and could give me enough insight into what it was like when she was my age that I took on one of my first independant learing projects, at age 7.
Independant learing stuck with me from that monent on and probably explains why I read so much now.
