I need to put some videos from my camera onto a DVD. I lost the USB, but found the SVideo cable. My computer won't detect anything, I've tried to use the graphics card interface, and I've read through the faq, but I can't find the solution, can someone please help me.

EDIT: I solved the problem by pluging it into my dvd player and recording it through there, more hassel but It had to be done. But now I have a new problem, After watching the DVD, you here someone shout 'Jesus Christ' right after an explosion (It was at an airshow, it was supposed to happen, don't worry), how can I cut it out without affecting the explosion noise, if possible?
