The Silver Rhyme
I have been set a thorny puzzle
Which has my mind in quite a muddle
I thought along, I thought out loud
But nothing came to ease my frown
So I called upon the great Lord Chilver
To beg him for a rhyme with Silver
Alas he cried, my child you’re beat
There is no word (unless you cheat)
Perchance you could of course try Savor
But only if you’re feeling brave eh!
My advice to you dear, just give in
Take this defeat upon the chin
For though this rhyme has got away
Tomorrow is another day
Wake up my dear you won't feel blue
Forget the rhyme, and start anew!
By the way... Lord Chilver does exist.. this is him
