What the hell is wrong with you? Nothing wrong with liking Gordon lightfoot a true legend.

On the subject of Neil Diamond, I have to say Cherry, Cherry is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Emily Dickinson
I dig Barry, too. Could This Be The Magic..... love it!
LIGhostChick
ABBA... love them!
MissMelsWell
Ummmm, I'd have to say Jimmy Buffet, but lots of people like him.

I also like Gordon Lightfoot... Sundown is a great tune.

I also love *cough* Billy Joel's Piano Man... total guilty pleasure (how can you not love a song that has a Real estate novelist in it?)

Umm, Cherry Pie by Warrant? Ya, love that song for NO good reason.

And... well, ya, I love most of Paul Simon's stuff... 50 Ways to Leave a Lover, Call Me Al, Kodachrome... ya... shhhhhh, don't tell.

Oh I had to add one more... Cher's , Gypsies, Tramps and Theives grin2.gif
Lt_Ripley
lol and the thing as reading these the songs were going through my head.

Ms. m your note of Cher reminded me - back in the time period when Cher wasn't popular ( before her comeback) was this guy waiting in his suped up olds 1980 , for his wife while she grocery shopped jamming as loud as he could 'Gypsies , tramps and theives '

you reminded me and made me laugh.
Manananggal
Anything by the Bellamy Brothers, Redneck Girl and Lovers Live Longer being particular favorites.

I decided to change mine! My favorite is Marilyn Manson. Of course, he's been my favorite since I was like 4.

I really don't know the name of the band or the name of the song, but the lyrics go like this:

"Push me, and then just touch me, so I can get my...satisfaction." The lyrics are in a computer voice similar to Text-2-Speech software.

Nothing embarrassing about those.

Mine, right now, would be Van Halen. When this 'tour' blows up, it's gonna be a mushroom cloud.

Oh, I'm listening to the Carpenters right now. blush.gif

I really like the song "Islands in the Stream" by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Just something about it that really makes everything seem super shiny and happy. grin2.gif
