Full Version: ouija board experience

Last night me and my girlfriend used her ouija board for the second time. The first thing it spelled out was "help me", which almost made my girlfriend want to quit, and it only got stranger from there (it also said "i'm dead" which was really freaky). It went on to say the speakers name was Ian Amaral who lived in Assonet Ma and was buried alive in Freetown State Forest in 1965 (I belive he was also saying his son was beneath him). He said his wife Carol Amaral (whom is still alive according to him) buried him. Towards the end of the session, he said "help me tell people". I know Freetown State Forest has a history of murders, has anyone heard of this man, is this a known case? It also said he was buried "close" which would make sense considering my girlfriend lives in Freetown.

Sorry, I can't find anything on him.

since your girlfriend lives there....how well do you two get along?...and does she own a shovel??...just kidding....i do not like ouija boards and i feel like they are dangerous "toys" because they seem to open you up to all kinds of attack, which may be the case now...i had some bad experiences because of a board...people tell you its bull but when you have an experience yourself, your idea will change...i would leave it alone other than i might search out this person in records to verify the story, if possible...

Some local papers have a little section whereby you can put in an advert if you are searching for someone. That may be another thing to try.

One thing I wouldn't do however, is become obsessed with finding out if this person actually ever existed. If nothing comes to light within a few weeks, leave well alone.

I agree with you Randomhit, ouija boards can become thorns in the side. Personally I wouldn't play with one, I have always held the view that you never know who (if any) is trying to communicate.
GeneBrowne
Yeah I searched for info too, but nothing came up.

Even if the board told you where the body was, what are you going to tell people?

"A Ouija Board told me" .... trust me ... that's not gonna work. Pretty weird experience though, but as Lotus has previously said ... I wouldn't become obsessed with it, as weird and as valid as it may seem. I'd take it with a grain of salt and add it to your experience list. If you do keep playing and the same sort of thing keeps happening, depending on circumstances I'd check it out further. With my personality I'd do a lot of things, but I am not going to tell you what to do as a lot of people would think it's a bad idea devil.gif . If you want some honest opinions you can PM me.

Cheers,

devil.gif Well we'll just say that what's the right thing to do and what I'd do are completely different. Personally I'd try the ouija again and if I was getting this same thing I'd get some more info. I'm sure Ian probably had faminly in that place so more than likely I'd look them up and ask them if he went missing in 65. If they were like no ... well it would just be a weird phone call for them. If it was true I'd tell them that I was using a Ouija Board and he came through telling me where to go and what happend and any other info I had. Thats just me though, I'm not shy about anything really. A lot of people wouldn't do it due to the consiquences. But I think that's what I'd do in this situation. I know it's not the best method and you should definitely leave the board alone ... but my personality don't allow it.

Either way my logical advice to blkcat is to not think too much about it and pass it off.

There Lotus, I said it and now I probably seem crazy lol. I know it's not the best method ... but I'm too curious not to do anything about it .... only if it kept happening though. I wouldn't go on one session and be like ohh I'm going diggin. I'd have to have enough info to persuade me to think that there just might be something to it, especially if I was close to it.

What would you do Lotus?

Cheers,

Gene

I agree Gene, the more they obsess over whoever that was, the more involved they become. I have heard stories where people become totally obsessed to the point of it taking over their lives. I would say to let it go, because as we know, if they were connecting with someone, Lord knows who it truly was..JN- crying.gif

To be honest, I dunno laugh.gif

I think I would try to find out if such a person existed, then I would just leave alone.

*makes note Gene is naughty * rofl.gif

I have had an incident whereby I was contacted by a girl of 17, she had long ginger hair and offered me a sweet out of a white paper bag. This was not via a ouija board though, it was something else.

She proceeded to tell me that her name was Anne Bronwyn and that she had died outside our flat along with her boyfriend a few years back in a terrible car accident.

She wanted me to let her mother know that she was now okay, I said I would try to do that.

I put an advert in the local paper asking if anyone knew the mother of an Anne Bronwyn as I needed to contact her, I did not put why, I hasten to add, I would probably have been stuck in a mental hospital if I had lol. There were no results.

I then went to the local Council offices and the library, trying to find out if there had been a car accident in our road that had resulted in the death of a 17 year old female and a 19 year old male, unfortunately, nothing was found.

I decided to leave it, but periodically, that incident still springs to my mind.

I also live in Mass and only found this article, but it was a recent death, and he is way too young..

Gene isn't naughty .... well, maybe a little.

Interesting experience Lotus. If that was me ... I'd want to find more out too. But if I found nothing to support it (and I'd try everything I knew), I would have done like you have and drop it. Not suprised that it comes to mind once in a while though ... the whole situation seemed creepy. So was the woman wasn't transparent, but like me and you, solid?

Creepy things.

I just read the obit. and it was very sad...I did come across that the Freetown State Forest has a reputation for the paranormal with sightings of Native American ghosts in battle dress...Also the Bridgewater Triangle is supposed to be a hot spot for the paranormal...Have you heard of this JN..I looked too and couldn't find anything on Amaral....

that was strange....we took some vacation pics a few years ago...one was near an old bridge...on the other side of the bridge was a tree stump where the dot had cut a large tree...no one else was around there...just my family and me...when we had the pics developed there was a little girl sitting on the stump in raggity clothes watching us, plain as day...nothing wrong with the camera...we had taken pics in the area before and after (all during the same time) and all were normal...blew our minds...

My group would get "information" similar to this from time to time, sometimes names and locations, birthdates, etc sometimes something more obscure, like a book called the Fabile Text that was supposed to exist only in a cave on the astral plane. We have been unable to correlate any information, including my supposed "last earth incarnation" as an American Sopwith Camel mechanic in England in WWI, named Gerschwinn. I did find out however that the closest translation of "Fabile Text" is "Book of Fables", which is amusing, as it means it is fictional - the Ouija boards would regularly do things like that, give us puns and parodoxical statements.

Awesome. To me, the information that comes from the operators' unconscious is at least as interesting as anything a spirit could tell us. Anyone who says it's "only" the unconscious may not realize what a deep jungle of weirdness the human mind is.
