Here we go... Oh, and if this is in the wrong place please move it. Thought this would be the best place.

Okay, we have a few things here. Feel free to add more categories if you think of more.

Pretty much, just think of your favorite or second favorite game for each of the topics.

First person shooter:
Halo
Graphics are nice. The plot's good, the effort put into this is amazing. Different sayings for ever level and sometimes it can be pretty funny. It's actually the only first person shooter that I've tried to beat after awhile of playing it.

Racing:
Mario Kart; Double Dash
Don't have that many racing games because I think they're just annoying. This one's fun though, a nice new addition to the old Kart.

Fantasy:
The Legend of Zelda; Majora's Mask
There's just something about the Zelda games that pulls me towards them. This one's good in my opinion. (Is it just me, or are the graphics in Windwaker horrible?)

Classics:
Kirby
This is just too fun, and everyone likes Kirby.

Arcade:
House of the Dead (any of them)
Zombies and guns, nice....
thefirstman
Horror:
Silent Hill 3

The atmosphere in this game is terrifying, and the cutscenes are fantastic. The graphics are grgeat and the gameplay gets great scores, took me ages to complete it.
crosswarrior
So Far Halo and Max Payne(Bullet-time anyone?)

First Person Shooter: Timesplitters2 for sheer brilliance and endless game play.

Racing: The amazing, peerless Gran Turismo 3. So real, you can almost smell the petrol fumes.

Strategy: Hogs of War. Brilliantly playable, and pant-wettingly hilarious. Still cracks me up, after all this time.

Classics: Super Metroid. What a bloody amazing game that was for it's time.

Horror: Silent Hill 2. Because it features Maria. Who is the sexiest video game woman ever. Except for our Lara, of course...

Action/adventure: Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 4. The newest might be gosh-darn pretty, but 1 shook the world, 2 took it outdoors, and 4 was dark and brilliantly moody.

FPS: Unreal, the original classic that started the whole series

Horror: Silent Hill 2 and Clive Barker's Undying

Third Person: Rune, hehe a viking running around hacking stuff up, what more do you want? Oooo oo oo I almost forgot. Really BIG axes! Those are the best part.

Classics: The Heretic/Hexen series, the first 3 games, Blood and Duke 3d are second to those.

Turn-based strategy: Age of Wonders

You know what I noticed when I first played Halo? The hunters aren't really that hard to beat. I can kill them easier than elites. I can kill them in around five second with an assult rifle without any ammo. You run up, dodging the blasts, then melee them once in the head, their heads go back and melee them twice in the throat. Even easier if you jump and hit as you fall. I was really dissapointed. Though it does get annoying going against two. Especially in a little room like in The Silent Cartographer where they come in when you're trying to shut it off...

Alrightee,this are my all-time favs:

Fighting : Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PS1)
- Comments?Woooooohhh!!!

Racing : Gran Turismo 3 (PS2)
- erm....actually I'm not really into racing games but this one's just great.Got me wasted a few hours. grin2.gif

Strategy : Civilization III (COM)
- I wasted the most of my time in this, tireless game, thumbs up. thumbsup.gif

Horror : Resident Evil : DC (PS1)
- First introduced me to the genre, scared the freakin guts out of me.

FPS : Medal of Honor Allied Assault (COM)
- The best I've ever played,Timesplitters 2 came close tho but this one's a monster.

Action : Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)
- Just brilliant despite the lots-of-talk-between-gameplay thing.

RPG : Final Fantasy VII,Breath of Fire III (Both PS1)
- Both were the greatest masterpieces of RPG's,at least to me.FF VII still beats BoF III though, notice that I've put FF VII first. tongue.gif

Coin-Op : Time Crisis
- Wasted approx. 100++ dollars playing this in the arcades.Need more to say?? tongue.gif

Woh,have I missed out on others?? blink.gif wacko.gif Guess that's it for now. thumbsup.gif
