Hey there UM! I'm a longtime reader, but now I step out from the shadow. I'm 22, living near San Francisco, California.

I'm really into the metaphysical/paranormal and self-exploration. I am a firm believer of God but also think He has given us the mysterious, the grand, the extraordinary. Some think it's strange that I believe in God but also of the dwellers of the "Underworld" such as the Fae, Gnomish creatures, and the like.
I saw a lot of media exposure as a child and was exposed to images and information beyond what should be considered "safe" for a child my age, but this led to my knowledge and I am grateful for that. On the downside, I have a few serious mental problems (OCD, Agoraphobia) and as such rely on online communities as my social scene.
Where this writer lives is a small town and sometimes right wing, but, living in California we come to expect a certain open mindedness that I can't seem to find many places online.

*takes breath* So, I'm here and I hope to have some very stimulating conversations with you, and hopefully make a few friends along the way!
