I remember seeing a "documentary" about the Blair Witch before I had even heard of the movie. The documentary was very well made and fascinating and right after it ended, I rushed to my computer and started googling, only to find out it was just a hoaxed hype for the movie(which was quite dull in my opinion). The documentary was so interesting that I was actually really disappointed when I found out the truth. disgust.gif

Some time later I saw a second documentary about this old fella who kidnapped a bunch of kids and took them to his cabin where they were butchered. One of the kids was left alive, forced to stand in a corner facing the wall, listening, while the other children were slaughtered behind his back. When enough children had disappeared the old guy was finally caught, claiming that an "old woman from the woods" had told him what to do. The guy was executed by hanging behind the prison, and the little boy who survived the tragedy eventually ended up in a mental institution where he later killed himself. This documentary was also very interesting even though this time I knew beforehand it was just a hype.

The actual flicks turned out to be rather dull, weird. Anyone else catched either of these?

I heard the stories before I saw the movie. The stories were great the movie was horrible. It was such a dissapointment.
