Awwww, that's cute... is it 1/5 scale?
The real Noah's Ark should have been about 5 times bigger if you are going to use the Bible as the historical account and reference. Not that I'd recommend that.

I read somewhere, incidentally, that Noah would have needed about 1600 sheep in the Ark... the two passengers, plus 1,598 to feed all the carnivores.

I often wondered about how everyone was able to eat and feed the animals, let alone surviving the stench. On the other hand, God can do anything. He provided for the Hebrews in the wilderness - manna from heaven.

Have anyone seen the documentary about some archeologists performing excavations in Turkey, in mount Ararat, where they found an ancient ship from around 4000BC and by a game of fate, an earthquake occured and the fossilized ship came to the surface? They managed to use sonar technology to see through the decks of the ship and saw that it was cut down in small compartments. Here's a photo from a rough search I did on google:

So if Noah took two of every species (mating couples) we should rename the Ark the Love Boat.

Just another fictional tale from the Old testament.
Where is the mention of creatures from the Americas, from Indonesia, etc.... there are none. These land areas were unknown and you would think that a complete list would have appeared in the Bible considering that the WHOLE world was supposed to have been afected. This is just a re-telling of considerably more ancient happenings made to look like the work of a Jewish God, to keep those advocates in line.
No boat a mere 450 feet long could possibly accommodate all the fauna of the the world.
One last thing.... Noah never thought to include ANY flora in the Ark. No Flora.... no life! Simple really

Noah's ArkYou need to see more up-to-date documentaries. All reports of finding Noah's Ark have been proven without merit. They've shown researchers walking around and using sensing equipment and not one has resulted in the desired reality. Besides, you have to to the original source, the Jewish bible, and find where it says "the mountains of Ararat." There wasn't a mountain named Ararat in that time. Similar to the Rockies. There isn't one mountain named Rockies or Rockie or Rocky...

I tend to agree, yet think that there are lessons to be learned from the story. It's also possible that this legend is passed down as it is based on historical events. Granted you have to STOP taking the bible literally (more than most Christians for that matter), but there is pretty strong evidence in some archaeological circles which consist largely of speculation, that there have been epic floods in the past, that have had profound impacts on what people of that time, might call "the World".

Noah's ArkUGH not this again. Most credible scientists (aka, geologists, archeologists NOT "ark"eologists) agree that this formation is NOT a boat... it's an interesting rock formation created by an ancient pyroclastic flow.
I wish this would go away.

We have located Noah's Ark. Unfortunately it is in pieces, and buried under many feet of ice most of the time. We have two photos on our website, one taken in 1973 and the other in 1989 in years when much of the ice pack was melted. These are two distinct pieces, one at about 15,000 ft. and the other at about 14,000 ft. This is not opinion. It is fact, and you can see the photos on our website at www.mexicobeachcwc.com/Noahsarkphotos.html
We have confirmed the photos. We know who took them, how, and when.

Here I was ready and willing to pay up to and including $19.95 and I don't have to pay anything for a look at this vintage pseudo-history?
