Hello all, I am sort of new around here (although because i'm interested in the paranormal (being a Spiritualist Medium) I have been reading this forum for months) and I was wondering (Michael my Spirit Guide couldn't really tell me anything), How do non-religious demonologists work? I can understand and know how religious demonologists work (especially Christan as Christianity is one of the thing I study - and trying to disprove) but I just cant work out how a non-religious one would work. I mean, a demon is suppose to be stronger then a human so I was hoping someone on this forum could help me out here. (Yes I know Spiritualism itself doesn't as a whole beleive in Demons but we are taught to beleive truth and what we feel to be true. Therefore I myself beleive in demons)

I am a Pagan and the way I see demons is they are beings for one reason or another don't like us or are angry about something that happen to them in another life. They have their reasons for what they do. In Celtic mythogy they are the outdwellers and they were at one time at war with the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Who told you this, or where did you get this info? Just curious to know. In my belief system, there are no demons, and a human soul is extremely powerful, indeed, especially since God created it. Everyone will find this out, sooner or later, at any rate.

A real Demonologist is ordained by its church, whatever religion they might be.

you don't have to be religious to believe in demons or god or even to cask one out of a certan place i feel. you just need to believe in god and that god will protect you from them. also i don't think demons are stronger that humans they are just wicked and evil and most humans in the world are not wicked or evil therefor don't know how to handle them. it's just my opinion. by the way, can you ask michael who my spirit guide is.....i'm just messing around.

also man, why are you trying to disprove christianity? are you trying to disporve jesus or the whole bible itself, or maybe just the traditions of the religion? i don't think anyone will be able to disprove ANY religion because i think it all comes form god and all religion is true.

If you mean a non-denominational demonologist, I suppose there could be.

But from all we have been told about demons from a number of experienced demonologists, the particular faith is of less importance than the faith itself.

As one demonologist put it: There is a universal Truth we know as "G-d". We know this Truth by many names, speak to it in a number of languages and with many customs but it all points back to the same universal Truth. Demons, by the very nature of what they are, are closer to this Truth than we as mere mortals are, and they know the power this truth has over them. So they fear anything that references this universal Truth. It is your faith in G-d that matters, not which religon you follow.
