Well I don't really know if this is true but I wanted to know your thoughs on this.
I heard that if you mop or clean the floor after a person that is stilll at your home and doing it right in front of him or start waving a dirty towel around the person's legs is something like a spell or a jinx. Well I wanted to know if this is true? If you are wondering where I have heard of this, well I have read this in a Russian book that a friend has given me.

Not if you use New Flash anti-bacterial floor wipes, Honestly i have never heard of this before, sounds kinda weird. My mum used to do this to me all the time, but probably because i used to trample everywhere with muddy combat boots.

No spell , just common sense . If you clean up after someone thats still their their is a chance they will make it dirty again , which is why you always wait for guests to leave .

i dont beleive it, but mom used to tell me if i let someone sweep under my feet that it means i would not get married.

I read somewhere(cant think for the life of me where)that if you want to get back at someone and freak them out.You go into their house and move EVERYTHING an inch to the left,and when they return the place willfeelso weird as if everything has moved and they think the placec is hauntedd.

It's just a superstition

I have to agree with JLA its superstition. I mean are you asking us if we clean up after you will you or us be jinxed. If this was the case then millions of us are screwed lol.

Im not tying to mock you by the way because lots of superstitions have murky and sometimes mystical beginnings. Sadly this doesnt

Well thanks a lot for the help. I just wanted to know what people though. I think that this is a just a superstition. I remebered that i read in the book something like if you sweep towards the person you are putting your problems onto that person.

Sounds like superstition to me as well.
I do believe that anyone can create spells and stuff its all to do with the powers of thought and your intentions.
Even if your friend did believe he was jinxed, it is only him and his thought that make him feel that way. However on this occasion take what you read with a pinch of salt.

I once casted a spell from a book I borrowed from the library.

While I was chanting the incantation, I was to take a wet rag and beat it against a rock.

A day later, it went on to rain three days in a roll!

yes coincedence, i farted yesterday and today its freezing cold, coincidence? yes...

one time I jumped up and down for 10 minutes and the next day their was an earthquake . Coincidence ? Yes , little tings like a wet rag and some crack wackos spell book wouldn't have anything to do with 3 days of rain . Unless it was 40 days of rain that ended at the same time ( in hour and minutes ) you did the rag thing .

Uh well it sounds more like a wives tell to me than a spell....
