Just got back from a trip at Crown Point, Lake Champlain NY. I stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday. Got back today... what a long road trip! Got the chance to visit some very historical areas such as Penfield, Port Henry, Fort Frederick, Fort Ticonderoga and investigate Lake Champlain for it's legends. We got a couple of interesting personal experiences by the lake. My friend's daughter got a strange feeling by the Crown Point Lighthouse and we got some strange images in the photos. Supposedly a lady haunts the lake as well as men from pre and during revolutionary war era. If anyone goes upstate often, I suggest going there. It's beautiful!!! It's got some cool legendary hauntings there too. Warn you though, it's an 8 hour drive! Unless you by pass the city by going through Conneticut, it's a looooooong road trip! Bring a deck of cards or a Ps3 with you! LOL...

We have a ton of photos! No EVP's unfortunately... We got a couple of possible paranormal photos at Ticonderoga. I gotta say, the place is beautiful. The history is amazing there! I'm starting to appreciate history more the more I travel. I feel connected to it for some reason.

As soon as I get some photos up on my hard drive I will post some pictures. I just got back today, haven't had the time to upload anything yet. I haven't even unpacked! LOL...

Yes... LOL

Especially when you have lots of black bears in your neck of the woods! LOL...

We might of even had a Champ sighting! I have that posted in Cryptozoology if you wish to read about our experience by the lake.

It was very relaxing. I love camping. I haven't gone camping since I was a teenager. I had a lot of fun. Our next stop is Howe Cavern's... Not until next year though. Unfortunately the winter makes it hard for traveling!

I have no idea why, maybe I am strange LOL but I adore bears, they dont scare me at all. Its little critters like spiders and bugs that nearly give me a heart attack so dont camp much anymore. What is a "Champ" siting? JN

While there's probably some haunted places around there (anything revolutionary war related), Lake Champlain is best know for the Loche Ness monster style creature ("Champ" as he's known locally).

Did you see it? original.gif
