Why does pacman have such a place is our sub/unconscious minds? All of his WAKAWAKAWAKAing. It does mean something.

Pacman is the sun, he eats stuff in order to get stronger. Eventually he is going to eat the earth and the moon. The ghosties are trying to stop him from doing this. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe we are the ghosties.

The idea goes back as far and farther as Delphi. Anyone who as actually met it will know what I am talking about. That infamous sound of death, "WAKAWAKAWAKA." As you tap into that you'll hear the ultimate death, when the sun devours us.

Pacman rolls through space eating everything in his way. The ghosties, us, are drawn to him by his pull. Trapped in their cage, earth, until the chaos ensues and releases us. When we catch him, it is all over. Capturing his energy, nuclear energy.

how did you come up with this conclusion that pac-man somehow resembles the sun. The only resemblence I see is that they are both yellow.

According to the developer who created Pacman... pacman is a pizza with a slice removed. *shrug* I'm sure that your theory would be very interesting to him. He'd probably bust a gut .... laughing.

My own theory is that Packman is the human subconscious that can at times eat its way through our "ghosts" which are doubts, worrys, fears, ect, but, more often then not, those "ghosts" manage to eat us. We must control our "Packman" and defeat those "ghosts" in order to reach the next level!!

That being said in total seriousness.. I give you the not so serious side of my view.

it's "Ms. PacMan" & i'm quiet possibly the best player in the world (high score everywhere i go). LOL. or atleast back in the day. i haven't played in prolly 5 or 6 yrs. but i'm a worthy advisary none the less

I agree wholeheartedly, we should create a church that recognises that belief one in which we build a special temple in which Pacman arcade games are all around, and all we do to worship is play Pacman, and compare the end results with life and faith. The higher the score, the holier you are. We will have holy Pacman knights who will go on great crusades in the search of quarters to keep our worship going. They will cruise around town on electric scooters, wielded with their cardboard armour and their trusty baseball bats with but a single nail through it, charging into laundromats and rival arcades, smashing all that holds quarters. And then, some day, his-holy-Pacmaniss will come down from galaxies and aid the brave crusaders in defeating and conquering the evil temples of Sonic and Mario to show who is the true arcade game god.....

I would so join a religion where you sit around and play video games or go on crusades smashing stuff for quarters. Where you're ranked for your skillz in Pacman. Such a life we would live.......

But seriously, it is a simple arcade game, there is no deep meaning to it.

While Pacman was quite addictive I truly doubt it has any deeper significance.

Next you will start relating submotives behind the development of Pong lmao. Or discuss how space invaders is an indicator of our future.

Theres so much you guys aren't getting, pacman is not a game, its a training exercise, I'm sorry but I cannot get in the specifics, THEY might get to me if I do, all I'm allowed to say is that the U.S gov't is NOT behind it, they are at the mercy of the grand plan...when THEIR plans come together (around 2012) you will understand....please dont bring this up again...SOMEONE might be listening...close by....
