Do you guys remember the show Celebrity Paranormal? It had an innovative idea! However it didn't last very long at all. What I liked about it is they took people who had no experience in the Paranormal what so ever and stuck them on an investigation. Of course they used celebrities for it. Maybe that's why it did poorly. That was a good idea, because it would kind of help authenticate a haunting if there was one. Send in people who have never been there or have any paranormal experience. Supposedly one of the actresses almost got possessed.

I remember it and it comes on in syndication here in the UK now and again. I think it would have been great if they used ordinary people and not celebrities to do the ghost hunts. However,I think there was a programme that did use ordinary people to visit renowned haunted sites.

Is this the Celebrity Paranormal Project? I only started watching this a few weeks ago. They use rejects from the Surreal Life and throw them into a supposedly haunted building. I actually don't think it's half bad. The latest one I saw had Traci Lords in it *heehee* and a few other used to be's and also-rans. I think it's funny. One second they'll be running down a corridor screaming their heads of saying "lemme out lemme out lemme out!!" the next, they're in the main room, "Yeh, I was scared, but not THAT scared." I use to watch Celebrity Paranormal. Man that show was so funny. I loved it. But I always thought that the show was staged to scare the crap out of the celebrities.

I agree, too staged. Now if they locked those blokes in reportedly haunted house for a week with hidden cameras and no other intervention, that might engage my interest.

I hav'nt watched it recently, maybe because they removed it. When I did watch it, I was entertained on how some celebrities you didn't think would scare easily, did!

I would watch more if the celebrities took it more seriously.

Any use of Celebrities for Reality shows, especially paranormal shows is just a mockery of the paranormal. Actors who need gigs and take the bait for sad shows. They will make a reality show out of anything now days. Look at ICE ROAD TRUCKERS! WOO HOO!!!!
