Well I will start off.

I was playing Oye Como Va by Santana with two other guitarists and no keyboard (for the solo in the middle of the song). We decided that I should take a solo (I play bass) because we had no keyboard player, so I used another of Santana's songs, that had room for lots of fills, for a slap solo(the fills were original). But this was in a fairly large chuch and, if you have ever taken a recording class, you should know that most rock should not have more than 0.5 seconds of room reverb. You can probably guess that my solo sounded like someone hitting a wall with a hammer because by the time I played the next note in the solo, the last one caught up with me.
