Saw a telly prog the other night in which ex CIA, KGB and SPETZNAZ officials ALL said 'Remote viewing is a technique that absolutely ANYONE can learn in 15 minutes'. They all went on to refuse to tell the researcher how, for obvious reasons. Does anyone know how??

e.g. I'm in England and i want to see inside a Soviet submarine, instead of risking all the implications of a spy, i simply send my mind out to have a look! so to speak. I am fairly skeptical but so many ex top brass from both sides swear it can be done!

Remote Viewing is a method of gathering data by transcending space and time. The remote viewer sits quietly, with their eyes closed, and uses some innate, possibly dormant ability to accurately describe activities, events, objects and geographical locations all over the planet (and beyond) in the past, present or future.

This strange, unexplained ability is called psi, and is more commonly known as ESP, clairvoyance, precognition, psychic phenomena, or telepathy. The controlled, goal oriented, methodological approach to using psi to transpond space and time by perceiving the past, present or future is called Remote Viewing. With proper training, remote viewing can be utilized by anyone. As with any other skill or talent, the level of remote viewing ability varies from person to person not unlike athletic skills or musical talent, but for the most part, everyone has some built-in psi abilities.

Just a friendly bit of advice. I would say to be very careful before attempting anything like this. It really is not something you should do without proper instruction, guidance and knowledge from a reputable and experienced person who knows what they are doing. Gain understanding and knowledge first!! Never attempt this on your own if you do not know what you are doing.

I think remote viewing is a hoax. Why else would NO ONE but the "insiders" know about it, if it's so "easy" to learn?

If it's so real, I want proof.

Yes, I know that means I'm being a skeptic, but I think I can deal with that. blink.gif

I dont get it, why would you come to these forums to be a skeptic?

no point whatsoever........

anyway, I doubt its a hoax, I mean I dont see the point of the military making a hoax like this on BOTH sides during the Cold War, did they both come up with it and try to fool other side whilst the other side was trying to fool them.

its possible that one side tried to trick the other with "remote viewing" and the other side tried it to see if it was the real deal and got it working.

or something

I don't know the 15 minute trick they use, but after a number of months in a development group, the simple method we were given for clairvoyance seems to work for remote viewing as well.

We started by staring at a point in a crystal for about 10 minutes and placing our awareness there, and recording what we received. Then we were ready to do a reading/remote viewing. The first thing is to clear the mind and allow the first impressions that came in about the target to flow and talk before we had time to think and judge what we said.
Any conflicting information would be balanced and the stronger of the two would be used.

The more you do this the easier and stronger it is. And the great thing is, unlike some reading types, the data in remote viewing is easily verifiable and the results can be incredibly accurate. And danger? Excuse me? Using our 5 senses is natural and how we are designed, any extension of these, especially under controlled conditions, is no different. I suspect any stories of dangerous psychic powers come from those who were already on the edge, and the psychic experience just pushed them over. Life is dangerous, don't worry about any more from the supernatural realm or you'll either give up or drive yourself crazy worrying about it.
But if anyone can dig up this 15 minute method we could all spy on everywhere we liked, and I for one would be kept pretty busy thumbsup.gif

Cooking is easy once you got the recipe. Just because something is "easy" it doesn't mean that everybody should be able to do it.

a person can be a skeptic and still be interested in something.

truly awesome analogy.

but as for my two cents, i can't do it and haven't seen any proof or heard any first hand stories of it. i'm open to it's possibility though.
