And the headline would read "Pilot is overtaken by an F15 (or possibly a Mig-29) on afterburner", 'cos that's what it looks like to me.

Totally weird looking. No idea how to explain this one heh.

Someone had posted this one a while back and I remember being a little suspisious then and still remain so. I think it's rather convenient that the craft makes it's manuever right in the middle of the screen as if to put on a display. This video wreaks of fabrication to me.

The second half of the video seems to show a military-style twin-engine jet accelerating away on afterburner. Nothing strange there.
The first bit is odd: at first I thought it was just the aforementioned jet 'banking' into the picture, but the object turns too abruptly. The subsequent acceleration away also seems a bit extreme.
Unless...
This video is being played back faster than the original. Notice how jerky the view out of the cockpit is. Military jets at altitude travel very smoothly unless they are avoiding a missile or something. THIS picture is jerking and shaking around: perhaps this is because the 6 second clip might actually represent 18 seconds (or more) of real video.
If that is true, then what we are seeing is a military jet crossing the path of the camera jet, but then banking to the left untill it is in a direct line. It then goes to afterburner (the two bright dots) and accelerates into the distance.

I'm convinced that it could be genuine, can't really say for sure it looked fake then on the other hand i could be wrong you never can tell but i'm willing to bet that it's a fake that could very well be real so i have to say with all honesty that i doubt it but then who can ever really be certain...

Clearly a fake, the craft already looks digitally made, and the pilot doesn't have any reaction when the 'UFO' appears on the screen. Anyways those very sharp turns would have put the plane in danger due to air waves it releases when it turns. But the plane just keeps it's normal movement.

I live in Australia, had to click this thread.
First of all, it amazes me that this hasn't been on the news yet. Second, it is way too convienint (I can't spell. xD) that it stops right there and the pilot got a shot of it.
Looks fabricated to me :\

Well the press releases nonesense but to a point, they wouldn't go releasing this one.

Dudes... all we are seeing is a video of one military jet banking in front of the 'camera' plane, and then accelerating away on afterburner. The reason it looks so odd is that the video is being played back at multiple times the original speed. (hence the jerkiness of the camera).
