I know for a fact.. Harte and Jaylemurph are far more informed on this subject. I trust their opinions wholeheartedly.

I havr researched alot of their findings on various subjects in the UM forums...so far they have both been correct at least 98% of the time, as for the other 2%....well you have to realize nobody is perfect we are ALL human and we can/will make mistakes.

Bull. Sitchen discredits himself on a daily basis.
Sitchen flat-out cannot translate cuneiform, though he claims he can. Sitchen often mistranslates Hebrew, though he's Jewish and says he can do this as well.
This is no question of mere "interpretation."
Sitchen takes other people's translations, takes a word like "throne" out and inserts a word like "rocket" in and ..Voila! Instant Ancient Astronaut.

Only the very weak minded would even listen to his drivel for more than a few seconds.


What's really funny is that when you google "Hebrew Scholars," one name that is notably absent is Zecharia Sitchen, a Jewish "interpreter" of Hebrew texts with a degree in economics.

My understanding is that Nephilim means "those who came down". While the Bible does refer to giants, and many scholars believe that the Nephilim were these giants, I do not recall reading any passages that specifically identify Nephilim as giants.

if you want to know the true source of what the nephilim are, read the book of enoch....basically they are the offspring of fallen angels (second rebellion) and human women. angelic dna mixed with human dna did not mix so well and these offspring became giants that sinned against the earth and ate human beings. some of their characterstics besides their height is they have more fingers and toes than humans and some of them have two rows of teeth. they were very aggressive and vial toward human beings and its one of the reasons God flooded the earth to try and get rid of them.

There isn't any evidence for angels, in the same way there isn't any evidence for the Nephilim. None whatsoever.
