I have some NASA photographic volumes and in my research into claims of alien lunar activities and artifacts I've found some photos that these pseudo-researchers missed. Not all of the ones I've found are shown below. I don't know if the photos will appear in the following order but I'll describe them so that there is no question as to which one is described. I took the photos with my digicam from two of my NASA books. I also processed the photos using Picasa but only for cropping or rotating. No enhancement was needed.

The one containing a face which is in the Northeast wall of Crater Aristarchus. It was taken from Orbiter V, V-199H or 200H, and the photo is in EXPLORING SPACE WITH A CAMERA, NASA SP-168, 1968, page 123. This face can also be seen in Apollo 15 photo AS15-0326 and can be found in APOLLO OVER THE MOON: A VIEW FROM ORBIT, NASA SP-362, page 162.

The photo containing the almost-perfect hexagonal crater is AS15-0293 and can be seen on page 107 of APOLLO OVER... The crater is located on the sourthern edge of Crater Gagarin's rim. There are other photos of similar shaped craters in other photos.

The third and last is the best for those pseudo-researchers who claim alien artifacts are visible here and there on the moon. This is a close-up of Crater Delisle from photo AS15-2076. To my knowledge no one has ever commented on what is seen in this crater which has to be an optical "delusion" and so I claim its discovery. In the NASA book's description of the overall photo this illusion is not mentioned and you wonder if those tales of someone at NASA airbrushing out UFOs, etc., would not have done the same to this photo. In the book, APOLLO OVER..., on page 191, it is clear as a bell. What I'm talking about is the sickle-shape visible at approx. 7 o'clock. It looks like a flat sickle-shape with a handle. The photo I took shows it almost as good as it is seen in the book's photo. On websites, this illusion is not as clear and you would never notice it.

However, I typed the above after I browsed and uploaded the photos which are not visible until I click on Post New Topic. So, keeping my fingers crossed that the 3 photos appear, here I go.

NOTE: I did browse 3 photos and uploaded them but as you can see only photo appears. I did a Full Edit and uploaded another photo but, again, it didn't take. I don't know what the problem is and I've encountered it before although I was able to post 2 photos previously. I'll appreciate your help in overcoming this so that I can include the other2 photos which I've described above. How the heck do you upload more than 1 photo! Aggravated.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: In the past when I tried to post more than one photo, only one appeared so I used a separate New Topic page to upload the other photos and I was accused by someone of spamming. I'm going to have to do it again in order to show you the photos I described above but which did not show. So, on with the spamming! That is, if the Mods don't complain. Look for the other photos in separate New Topics, possibly 2 if I can't upload 2 at once.

Only one showing so far - of the face on the moon. That's cool, I love pareidolia.

To me, just above the face you circled, above and very slightly right, and laying sideways, it looks like a boxer, with gloves, shorts et al, no?

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I just tried to do a New Topic with the 2nd photo which did not appear in my OP. I followed the browse and upload and when I was done, no photo appeared!

Look at the upper left on the pic. It looks like a skull. Next to the skull is a galloping animal and in the lower left is the profile of someone. The brain is working overtime assembling these images.

Reminds me of the faces on Mars. Interesting.

Photos like this paint a much bigger story about the person who post the pictures as opposed to the subject of the photo itself.
