Hi gang: When we watch a movie or a TV show, or whatever, we sometimes are so engrossed in the main action that we miss some little details that may be accidental or sometimes put in by the director or actors. There are a few websites dedicated to catching these little details and they're fun to visit and you leave these websites a wiser person and possibly paying more attention next time you view anything.

Sot it is with me. I'm scanning the whole screen and I've wound up seeing some interesting things. I don't remember when I started but I do remember seeing an "unknown" in a black and white movie with Humphrey Bogart on a boat out at sea. It was a dark scene but in the background one could see something that was not part of the movie or scenery. In "JAWS," while the main characters are out on the boat chasing the shark you see something in the background sky and it looked then to me like it made a fast, rounded turn. Not having video in 1975, it was one of those one-time things. But, fortunately, one day as I was walking in my neighborhood, I noticed a film crew and an RV. I inquired and was told that they were filming 'THE GOODBYE GIRL nearby and Richard Dreyfuss was inside the makeup RV. I waited, my camera ready, and as soon as he stepped out I took a photo of him. Then I approached him and we walked together towards the location where the filming was taking place. He put his arm around my shoulder. I asked him to tell me what he thought of what I described and, surprisingly, he told me he couldn't talk about it! I think he was really putting me off because we were approaching the nearby location and he probably did not even really know what I was inquiring about. Since then, I've watched "JAWS" many times and only in the unedited version can you see something that now, to me, doesn't resemble what I saw. Now what you see is definitely something-shooting-star-like going behind Roy Scheider's head and I think it's during a close-up. So, if you watch the movie looking for this scene, they're in the boat, Scheider is on the left side of the boat and it may be around where Robert Shaw says something to Dreyfuss about being careful.

Next movie. This is really the best one for UFOs from 1999 and it's titled "TEASE", with Rosanna Arquette, Jürgen Prochnow, Mandy Schaffer, Michael Des Barres, Suzanne Coy. Here is where you can see 2 clear UFOs flying one just in front of the other one and to the side. Mandy has driven a car to a pier and has allowed the car to drive off the pier. At first, the camera looks down on the car in the water as it bubbles and the car begins to sink. Then the camera view changes to the edge of the pier on the left side of the screen with Mandy standing on it, the car in the water in the foreground and in the sky to the right are the two fast approaching white objects. I'm including a vidframe below, if it appears as I've been having problems uploading images to my other posts. So keep your fingers crossed. The quality of the image is poor because I first had to play the videotape I have the scene on, freeze the frame, and then take a photo of the TV screen with my digicam. Since I don't know how to set my digicam to shoot a TV screen so that the whole screen image appears without the black bands, I did get the black bands but I selected the photo with the black bands at the top and bottom of the screen which I cropped out with Picasa. The 2 white objects are just visible. But if you get the VHS or DVD of the movie you'll see high quality footage and you'll play that segment over and over.

There are other movies that have UFOs in them but I don't have the titles handy. I did tape one documentary about crime in a southern California city and when the beach scene is shown, you can see a white object appear in the sky and fade away.

Watch the skies, everywhere! Keep looking. Keep watching the skies!

Very interesting! I'll have to check into these vids (again) and see for myself.

Now you're going to laugh.. but when PBS DID have Teletubbies on TV (they stopped running it a few months ago or so here in Oregon. I guess it was due to some Religious "gay fearging" BS or something like that)
Anyway, I think it was late last year - I had the show on for my twin boys (3 yrs old at the time) and I can't remember which episode it was but there was something really strange that moved in and moved back out the same way - clearly high in the sky - and definately not a bird. Never saw a bird fly in and backward like that before. Alot of their scenes were done outside - but with fake ground scenery etc Anyway.. your post reminds me of something I caught on the Teletubbies show! LOL
