someone went to a lot of trouble to fake that video.

Several things leapt out at me, firstly the type of weapons the gaurds used looked like the smaller calibre AK-74 as opposed to the standard AK-47 being employed by the Russians during the period. The '74' part of the name comes from the production of the prototype model. Hence, these weapons didn't appear until 1974. 5 years after this video was supposedly shot.

It's the equivalent of a german soldier in WWI carring an MP40 into battle.

Secondly, there were only two of the soldiers who actually carried weapons. Seemingly strange for a detachment of soldiers sent to examine and safeguard a crashed UFO from another world.

And thirdly (and most damningly), the cameraman spent an awful amount of time making sure he got all the soldiers in shot. So much footage was of 'setting the scene' and making it look official as opposed to actually filming the UFO itself. In fact throughout the entire thing we don't get a clear shot of it.

Therefore the idea was to create the impression of legitimacy of the phenomenon, and not the phenomenon itself.

The camera man spent more time focusing the camera on the soldiers than on the actually ' UFO', I think that.. that says most of it.... doesn't it?

I didn't get any volume. Probably because the actors don't know how to speak Russian.

Few things jumped out at me.

1) Video shows too much of the soldiers standing about doing nothing. With a dirty great big saucer in front of them, you'd think they'd be examining it. I'd at least be poking it with a stick!

2) The saucer has lodged over half of itself into the ground, but the earth around the saucer is undisturbed. To make a demi-crater that size, you would have to kick up a lot of earth, where has it all gone? The earth is still perfectly flat where the saucer went in.

3) Trees around site are all intact apart from two which are bent over a bit, but the angle at which the saucer would have hit the ground meant it would have come from over the trees, making a crash line through the trees and at least damaging some trees?

4) With a UFO at my feet, I'd have a few more armed guards on standby!

Just my opinion...

I could not agree more. The soldiers are not very interested in the crashed UFO, BTW for a crashed ship it looks very "in one piece", I mean it doesn't have not even as much as a dent on it and the dirt around it looks like nothing happened, the trees are indeed all intact. Even if that thing would have crashed at such a steep angle and lets say that it missed somehow all the trees, the force of the impact alone would have affected the trees in the area, the craft it's half way into the ground after all not to mention that the ground there it's probably frozen solid. I say it was practically buried there. This video is one of those "official fakes" made for the purpose of disinformation.
