Original Wonders and Atlantis Studios announced today the release of “Third Army #1: Dawn of A New Day” the first installment of a new comic book series inspired by the research of occult master Jordan Maxwell, written by Gustavo Higuera with art by Guiseppe De Luca and a cover by Juan Ferreyra of Rex Mundi and Small Gods fame. Third Army is the story of a young group of truth seekers and their enigmatic leader Max as they confront the modern realities of a world that has been plunged into chaos by entities working to bring about a New World Order. With unique symbolic interpretations, detailed footnotes and encounters with “real-life” modern-revolutionary thinkers, The Third Army explores such themes as secret societies, religious controversies, occult philosophies, UFO’s and government conspiracies with the purpose of preparing the world for a new age of enlightenment by the means of an intellectual re-evolution.Not only is the Third Army a compelling story that explores many of the problems that the world faces today but it is also the untold story of the “Lonely Ones”, the real-life truth seekers who are attempting to awaken the masses to a world that is torn between it’s own unlimited potential for greatness and it’s own self-destruction.
Creator Gustavo Higuera was recently interviewed by ComicNews.info and had this to say about how Third Army would be different from other “conspiracy” inspired comics,
“A cool thing about all the main characters in Third Army is that I’ve based most of them on real people and although they live in a fictional world they are dealing with the exact same issues people are facing all over the world today. They even interact with real-life truth seekers, like Dr. Roger Leir who is the first issue. Dr. Leir is famous all over the world for his research in the field of UFOLOGY, specifically in relation to the mysterious phenomenon of alien implants. I realize this may seem far-fetched and crazy to some people but this kind of stuff is very real to millions of people around the world just like many of the other themes the comic deals with. The question about the validity and truth of these concepts is another story though. Some of the stuff out there is just completely off-the-wall while some things like Dr. Leir’s research are truly a mystery. I don’t think we’ll ever find out the “truth” about these ideas per say but I think they are really more of an indication of where we are as a species. Right now, I think a lot of people feel lost and really don’t trust the people in power. They are asking a lot of questions and reaching out desperately for answers. My main concern is how this energy is being focused and I think all this fear and paranoia in the world today could be harnessed into a more positive force and that’s where the Third Army fits in. I really try to make a point not to jump to any conclusions though but rather my hopes are that this comic will inspire readers to do their own research and perhaps in the process they will discover ideas and concepts they may not have even know existed because in essence they are the real third army and it’s up to them to make a choice for a better tomorrow. To help readers in this process of discovery each issue of Third Army will feature footnotes that they can look up on the Third Army website for further information regarding some of the symbols and philosophies found in each issue.”
Third Army #1 is a 32 page issue that will be available exclusively on the Third Army website starting in October. For more information on how to order and news about upcoming issues visit the official Third Army website at:
