And I'm not sure it's too nice. It may be animal friendly vegetable dye, but it's like those people who dye their poodles pink, paint their nails or put clothes on their dogs unneccesarily. It just doesn't sit right with me.

I agree that all those weird colours people dye their dog, nail polish and dressing them up in designer duds everyday is too much! I think on halloween or something like that now and then, ok it,s cute! But some people have really gone off the deep end getting plastic surgey not for health but for looks reasons is nutty! But do you really think the panda dog is a dye job? It looks real to me!

The dog in the OP is a chow (not sure what breed the one in my link is) and chows only come in the folowing colours:

Clear colored, solid or solid with lighter shadings in the ruff, tail and featherings. There are five colors in the Chow: red (light golden to deep mahogany), black, blue, cinnamon (light fawn to deep cinnamon) and cream. Acceptable colors to be judged on an equal basis.
