I saw a few minutes of this video, and it tells a fairly amazing story. Jacob Deshazer was a bombardier on a B-25 during a raid over Japan. They ran short of fuel, and crashed in China. He and fellow crew members spent 3 years in solitary confinement. Surviving, amidst executions, he and the others had some unusual experiences while in confinement.

At one point, one American officer died of malnutrition. Just before that, the guards shoved him because of his weakness. He said, "I may be weak, but I can still kick your butt."

Because of his death, a commanding officer gave the others one Bible to be shared. They could each read it for up to three weeks. Jacob was an atheist, but felt inspired by certain things, like Psalms.
DeShazer said he had been moved and inspired to keep up his strength, because of having the Bible to read.

After a prisoner transfer to Nanking, DeSahzer and a fellow POW found they could talk into a common toilet to communicate. He told the other POW that he had a revelation or a dream that the war would end that day- something big.

That was August 5, 1945, one day before the mission over Hiroshima. A couple of weeks later, GIs parachuted into Nanking, to seek a out officials for surrender. The prisoners were groomed and released to the Americans.

Afterwards, an onery, grity, and gung-ho member of the military, Jacob Deshazer returned to civilian life. He gave lectures, and became famous. He also became a missionary.

I only saw a few minutes, but it seemed like all concerned and interviewed were good and descent, and intelligent people. My sister is a practicing Christian, so I will probably donate to the video distributors (since they accept donations in lieu of fixed price), and send it to her.

I would recommend it to anyone who is not a sick-in-the-mud, and can appreciate sincere survivors of WWII. And, an inspired individual.
