Me being the huge Danzig fan that I am ( Danzig), just wanted to throw it out there that it was announced yesterday that Danzig will be touring from 10-23-07 to 11-02-07. It's a small tour so go if you can. He will have ex-Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Van Frankenstein opening for him in his new band Gorgeous Frankenstein. Hopefully, maybe Danzig and Doyle will play together again as they have the past 2 years. Last years set was phenominal as it included not only Danzig and Misfit songs but songs from Danzig's Samhain years as well. For those that do go, Enjoy the Blackest of the Black Tour, I know I will.

Unfortunately the tour is only in the US. Mainly just the West Coast and two shows in the East coast. One being New York the other Philadelphia. He is keeping his tours short now because as he said in an interview that is getting to old to be on the road long periods of time. Could Danzig be mellowing in his late years? I hope not.

I'll surely attend the philly show.

The Misfits were, and are, great. As for Danzig solo, I think Black Aria is the best thing he's done post-Misfits (Black Aria II was pretty awful, though). His first two solo albums are great and Danzig III and IV are OK, but after that it's gone steady downhill (6:66 Satan's Child is still one of the worst albums I've spent money on.. Ended up giving it away).
