An air passenger in China shocked cabin crews when they found him taking a sponge bath in the toilet.

Passengers on the flight from Nanning to Chongqing complained that the man was spending too much time in the toilet.

An air attendant knocked on the door, and then noticed water flowing out from underneath it.

"We had to open the door with a key, and saw that the man was half naked," said the attendant.

"When he saw me, he said he was bathing, and asked me if I had some shampoo."

The man, Jin Sheng, said it was his first time on a plane. "I discovered the bathroom had hot water, so I thought of taking a bath, since I hadn't had one for nearly a week," he explained.

You only get to take a sponge bath on a plane if you're a first class passenger holding a full fare ticket. rofl.gif j/k

ROFLMAO I absolutely love this Thread laugh.gif

Hopefully he was using the sink, but it is funny to imagine him using the toilet instead rofl.gif

I can't stop laughing, I was reading this Thread to my husband earlier and was laughing so much I started crying laugh.gif

First thing..swtp-after you go 'sandbox'? That's...just to cute, lol

maybe he was standing in the toilet and using the hot water from the sink?

This is just incredibly sad...

To have a bath on/in an airplane toilet??? I guess that this is just one of those moments that make you ponder the intelligence of people...

The guy was excited that they had hot water. I'm betting he lives in a place where hot water isn't that common. Good grief! The guy was probably poor, not nasty, and rather thrilled at the chance of getting clean no matter where he was.

I'm picturing him sitting in the sink with his feet in the toilet....not a pretty sight rofl.gif

I think by "toilet" they meant the room itself. Airline toilets do not hold standing water. He was surely using the sink for bathing.

Yes but if he was that poor then how could he have afforded a plane ticket original.gif

^ Umm... maybe he saved up all the money from not paying for hot water? wink2.gif

A toilet, of all things..

Sounds like something I would do w00t.gif

I think they mean bathroom when they say "toilet." and not literally the toilet..

The guy hadn't bathed in a week, and they had hot water.. rather him wash up before he sat next to me on a plane anyway.
