Washington Township. New Jersey - Back behind the towering corn is a message that can only be seen from the air.

It is one of the most infamous symbols of hate -- a swastika -- cut into acres of cornfields in Mercer County.

Investigators found that the most recent swastika appeared to have been hand-cut and covered an area of several acres.

That's funny. I was reading a book yesterday on Humor in the Third Reich and there is one story/joke about an Englishman who believed an air war was so close that he cut his garden into the shape of a swastika in hopes that he wouldn't be bombed. But somehow, I don't think these people need to be worried about the Luftwaffe.

That was planted by an actual Nazi during the hight of the Third Reich. An "enthusiastic Nazi forester" (wtf?) as the article says. I have a feeling the English cornfield swastika was a joke. I hope it was a joke.
