Same here -it's so surreal. The subtelty of it makes it even scarier.
It's hard to figure it out and it gives you a bad feeling. I'd like to to do this kind of artwork. I'd like to paint it.

That picture is so creepy but so cool. As veliska said, I would not mind it over a sofa...but I don't think that thing would ever go in a bedroom or whatnot. I'm already a self induced insomniac, I don't need anymore help, lol.

I've decided that the only cure is to pass it on. So I've e-mailed it to all my friends and relatives, and before I leave for work, I'm setting it as my desktop background. So when the husband comes home from work, it will be the first thing he sees when he walks in the door!

If it wasn't for that man in the background I would say that picture was taken when the baby was post mortem its eyes just seem very glazed over. Then again alot of people's eyes look freaky in those photos so its hard to tell sometimes.

I found some pretty freaky photos of some badly done post mortem photography where it is not hard to tell I must say but I am not posting any pics or links here due to the reply that stated people of all ages are on here and I don't want to be responsible for them finding that stuff. By badly done post mortem photography I mean the body was not preserved well and they waited too long after death and the body had already started to decompose. It is not pretty I must say. Although I did find some beautiful stuff that really was a lovely tribute to a person's life.

Although I find the photos haunting and enchanting I am glad its a practice that was never done here and has died out in the places it was done. It is more than a little disturbing to think of people doing that to a loved one after death. And no I am not going to elaborate on the words DOING THAT I find the process they used to use disturbing and I am not sharing google it and find out for yourself.
