Carl was the only one that actually spooked me on most haunted. Basically I watch in the hope of seeing some of those awsome orbs.

Yvette did a good job at egging Derick on when it came to being over come. She always had stuff bumping her in the dark and spooking her. I think she's pretty gammon to.

I've never seen that show (ghost hunters? or most haunted?) but the last I heard he was touring around England in a 50 foot "ghost truck" bringing spooky stories to a hamlet near you! .... no wonder some of you are so skeptical ...b

He is so rediculously over the top that I could never take him seriously. That first clip was histerical lol.

Did anyone catch the trailer for Paranormal Activity? I'm a very serious investigator with a huge amount of love for what I do, and it saddens me that we have people such as Most Haunted, and this Penn State Group representing us!? This is why we are getting laughed at in the field and not being taken seriously. Its nice to have such a subject for entertainment, but I don't know about you guys but in a way a lot of it is hurting the field. What is contributing? What is it helping by producing another Dramatized t.v. series?

LOL Derek was fired from MH, due to the fact he is a fraud. He faked his possessions, and tried to "act" not work as a medium and also received information about locations prior to their arrival. Richard Felix was also let go, not sure why, he seems like a pretty accurate Historian. Next season we wont see either of them, and I am so glad Derek's face wont be on tv any longer. Yvette is married to Karl and they own the rights to the show. Karl never stated he was anything of a professional and Yvette didnt even believe in spirits when they show began several years ago, but now she does. Stuart is an idiot but he is Yvette's cousin, and last I heard he wont be around either. He said he lost all his hair and was always anxious and tense from ghost hunting, but I loved watching him get his butt kicked when he challenged something supernatural. The show is for entertainment purposes only and for one, I like it. Dr.Ciran O'Keefe has a quite the resume and is very credible and professional as is David Wells. The rest just go into haunted locations and take it from there, and they are nothing like TAPS or other kind of show. I am not sure why I watch it, I just enjoy it and have watched it now for over 4 years. ::waving bye bye to Dekek and Sam::: JN

I coudn't believe it.....Derek has a new show. I guess him getting busted on Most Haunted and then his second show Ghost Towns failing didn't make him realize that he should pack it in, but now he has a new show coming out named Paranormal Egypt. When is he just going to give up?

Actually their ratings are much higher when Derek is not on the show, no one likes him including their audience. I think David Wells does a much better job..JN

I watched an episode tonight where it was just four ladies doing the investigating, and it was far more credible. I knew Derek was fake the first episode I saw him in, because of the disclaimer. He was billed as one of Englands leading psychic mediums and had been involved with reading for years....yet the show disclaimer said he had never been to this location and knew nothing of its' history. Give me a break! I'll be happy to try and rewatch it when he's gone. I get very frustrated with them when they are summoning and asking for a noise for a sign, then the first little thing happens and it's "did you hear that? What was that? Did you hear that?" Which effectively interupts the entire process, and they have to start over. Its' maddening, but I can't help but watch for a minute or two. ~Jackal

I found it great that people were taking a public interest in finding truth to paranormal activity, having 'professional' investigators go to these places that were considered haunted. I thought this was an excellent way to study the paranormal and include public interest.

I should have guessed it would have just been exploited and faked. And it saddens me.

But what can you do right?

Just my opinion, but I don't trust the lot of them, on Bad Psychic they have vids of the lot of them cheating - even David Wells stroking someones hand during a seance.

The show is made by Yvette and Karl's (who are married) own production company, they came up with the concept and pitched it to Living in the first place, they have a lot of money riding on that show. I remember watching Karl defending an accusation of cheating and he said "why would we do that" - money is the answer.

Of the TV shows about investigating hauntings I liked Dead Famous and I like the TAPS one too.

She has it right. Its a lousy show. I tried watching it. It sucks. Cheesy comes to mind.

So he has proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. No, I don't thinks so. He is nothing more than a bad actor.

I did capture an image in our old home on the TV. The tV was off and the cable box,,,and you can see, what looks to me, a beautiful native american womans face. It covers the whole screen! of Course like a big dummy I gave the picture to my native americam friend. I will have him e-mail it to me and I will post it.
