I was doing research for a project and found a few message boards through that search, but kept coming back to this one because it had a lot more accurate information.

I was looking up feral children on Google, and accidentally stumbled onto this site. And now, here I am.

I was looking for U.F.O pictures on Google and stummbled across this web site, which happens to be a verrrry cool one by the way; And now am enjoying myself as you are.

I think I found this while looking for the shows site, though this was much better. I remember reading an article on the main page about time travel..something to do with a balloon been sent up through a group of clouds in the artic and coming back with its timer like 40 years in the past.

It was intresting, and so was the site .

Fighting with Way_Beyond in the zone chess room about Sleep Paralysis and Night Demons... then he gave me the link to get me here. So I signed up and posted my thoughts.

Googling information on Halo I stumbled across a Halo thread here. The next thing I know I'm a member. Go figure!

Whoever that person was, thank you VERY much. You have given me a new "addiction".

I was on a gaming website when I saw an advert for a video game called Cold Fear, where they had a photo of a guy holding one of the monsters from the game (made to look real), and after googling it I found this forum; where someone said that the monster was a real type of animal. I signed up to tell him it was fake and I stayed since.

I had to do a project for school and decided to do it on mysterious things, so I googled it and found this website. I would've looked around first, but i can't stand not being able to say anything, so I signed up. I think a lot of people have google to thank

mmm...It was the first useful thing I had done after joining my new job...I googled for unexplained mysteries and the rest is history.

It seems to me I joined over a year ago. And due to old age (Compared to most here at UM) I can't rightly remember how I stumbled onto this site. Heck I can't remember what I ate for breakfast this morning.

Found it through google. Don't remember what I was searching for...

just wanna ask this, might make a good thread, a dunno I joined through a mates big brother, and i thought, wow, cool site, and I can get oppinions on the unexplained from all around the world!! so, tell the group, and we can see how and when we all joined and why!

never know, some of us might be more alike than previously thought!

I found this forum through a google search, reading up on who believes in ghosts ect, and UM was one of the top choices. I had a good read before I joined, then that was me hooked!!

me too, my friends big bro,mark, was redin' some of the hauntings stuff(we were annoyin him, we wanted on the pc) n a started reading the hauntings and cryptozzology stuff and i was intrigued. i mean, i dont know anyone in my year that actually comes on this site, just my cuz, and thats it! i mean, how can such a truly magnificent site be sooo secret!?

After discovering the Unexplained Mysteries forum it took me about a week to find out that there were other discussion boards e.g. off topic and world an current affairs.

I found this site a year before I actually joined. I was looking up information about aliens (I think) and I stumbled upon this site. For almost a year I read different information and considered peoples posts, then I decided I'll join and put in my 2 cents as well.

I just hate it when you are kinna new to a forum and you find that someone has opened a thread and everyone begins to post, then someone will enter saying...hey isn't there a thread alread on this (months ago most likely) as if a newbie is going to sit and hunt down any old thread that may have excisted before....I say..if its not on the 1st or 2nd board...why now make a new one!!
